We worked in the fields adjacent to Les Essarts - working to remove a number of the oaks and stands of blackthorn and Tree Heather to open up the pasture for grazing animals.

Conservation Montgomery Young Environmental Writers Workshop (YEWW), Feb. 13, 2015. This is a hike led by James Graham, president of the Neighbors of the Northwest Branch, one of the CM partners. We took 12 high school students on a winter hike.
There are many birds who make Dundas their home. When visiting the Dundas Valley Conservation Area the singing of birds dominates the aural landscape; it would cause my house cats to have nervous breakdowns.
