SCHOFIELD BARRACKS — Soldiers, families, Department of the Army civilians and community members attend Earth Day, a partnership between U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii's Directorate of Public Works Environmental Division and Island Palm Communities, on Weyand Field, here, April 7.
Attendees learned about environmental sustainability through exciting interactive exhibits, including pollution prevention and natural resources conservation.

Students from all over the world travel to this Nature Reserve to learn about the threats facing turtle conservation by day and help biologists collect data about nesting turtles by night.
