Elephants are among the most intelligent of the creatures with whom we share the planet, with complex consciousnesses that are capable of strong emotions. Across Africa they have inspired respect from the people that share the landscape with them, giving them a strong cultural significance. As icons of the continent elephants are tourism magnets, attracting funding that helps protect wilderness areas. They are also keystone species, playing an important role in maintaining the biodiversity of the ecosystems in which they live.
During the dry season, elephants use their tusks to dig for water. This not only allows the elephants to survive in dry environments and when droughts strike, but also provides water for other animals that share harsh habitats.
When forest elephants eat, they create gaps in the vegetation. These gaps allow new plants to grow and create pathways for other smaller animals to use. They are also one of the major ways in which trees disperse their seeds; some species rely entirely upon elephants for seed dispersal.
On the savannahs, elephants feeding on tree sprouts and shrubs help to keep the plains open and able to support the plains game that inhabit these ecosystems.
Wherever they live, elephants leave dung that is full of seeds from the many plants they eat. When this dung is deposited the seeds are sown and grow into new grasses, bushes and trees, boosting the health of the savannah ecosystem.
Sidenote: (This kind of digital art is certainly not one of my strengths, I don't use photoshop so cutting out the model to place into a background wasn't as easy as I thought. I still have much to learn with this but felt proud enough with what I had achieved to publish this with regards to the subject. Elephants face so many more threats than loss of habitat, as do many more wild life species.)

Beyond Dreams
Everything is energy.
The collective consciousness is powerful and makes up the collective thought forms of humanity.
There has been a psychological attack upon the minds of men for as long as we have existed on this planet.
This attack has been on steroids this past few years.
Creating fear, division, suppression, anger - all the demonic energy has been in full swing.
The world is the devil's playground
Understand the symbiology that is used throughout our society.
So very sadly it is rampant in the music and entertainment industry.
I recognized when I first came to SL - this was the devil's playground. Sadly, I am seeing more and more of the demonic energy at play - willing participant's advocating all that is demonic . . . be very mindful where you choose to place your energy -
Everything you think, do, feel creates an energetic force that affects not just you, but your immediate surrounding and environment. Be careful of your thoughts, your actions and don't be a toxic waste dump on a society that is full of toxic waste.
It saddens me deeply to see so many creators and people cashing in on all that is demonic - this is just contributing to the demonic energy. Think about it please. It is like a dark vortex of alluring seductive energy that will suck you of your soul and all that is good about you!
Now is the time to dig deep, to find your courage - despite what is being played out on the world stage.
So much of what you are witnessing is optics - all illusion
We are in a war - a war of good v evil - these days were always going to come.
We are a result of our collective consciousness and what we are seeing play out globally is nothing short of demonic
Until people realize this demonic power has always been here - long before you and I existed - nothing will change.
Turn off your media - it is full of perception and lies. Be mindful of your thoughts and your feelings.
Do your own due diligence - all is not how it appears.
Hold tight, hold strong, bring moments of joy into your life no matter what - look for the beauty - it is there - . . .

Despite the chaos being played out - collectively we can change this
Hold tight, be courageous - let go and surrender - build your inner core
The veil has been lifting on humanity slowly but surely
Have faith we will get through this and we will create a better way of being in this world
Dismantling the evil was never going to be an easy task.
Sadly, there will always be those that sacrifice their lives - bless them - for in their sacrifice - they awaken others to the reality of this world

DANCE
In dreams I walked; dazed by events
and blinded to the truthful present
blind-sighted; blinkered by the ensuing darkness
I clung to life like a life-buoy being dragged out to sea
the horizon looked so far away
no land in sight to fill my heart with hope and gaiety
but the further I drifted;
the more the sand beneath the ocean shifted
and a fault inside the Earth cracked wider and pulled me down
I was drowning deeply; water rising
my face upturned to see blue skies
last conscious thought was of the clouds descending
as they lifted me I felt my hopes rise

Happy Christmas means enjoying real happiness coming from within Christ consciousness. All experience of happiness comes from within, for the source of happiness lies in our self which is our divine self Atman or Christ consciousness being the source of happiness. So all the happiness every being enjoys and experiences comes from within.
Someone may say nice words to us or do nice things to us or give us presents and this activity of the others makes us happy ….. but this happiness comes from inside us for it opens our spiritual heart and lets the love or happiness inherent in it to flow outwards so our body senses can feel it.
This happiness did not came from any where else but from our divine self, for our divine self is the source of happiness and only from it, it can flow outwards.
Our self lies inside our spiritual heart, actually it is our spiritual heart and so love and happiness can flow only from our heart. That is why we say “heart to heart communion” for only between hearts we can have communion of love and joy or bliss.
If we feel sad and experience unhappiness the reason is that we have closed our spiritual heart and the inherent flow of joy that is our self cannot pass and flow through a closed heart. Our false ego being offended closes the door of our spiritual heart and we feel cold and abandoned. No one else has caused this distress we feel, we are the ones that caused this distress by closing the door of our heart so the bliss of Atma, of our self, can not reach our outer body senses. The cause of our unhappiness is not due to others but of our ego self that distance itself from the real self the Atman which sits in our spiritual heart. We feel distress and unhappiness only when we distance away from our divine self and identify with our false ego which is the creation of illusion and ignorance.
So the wise say we are the embodiments of supreme bliss and love, only if you are immersed in ignorance you experience unhappiness and distress. Ignorance is your real enemy for only ignorance is causing you unhappiness. The more the ignorance you have, the more the unhappiness you experience. A rich man is a man who experiences all the time joy, a poor man is the one who experiences distress, fear and agony most of the time with very few intervals of real happiness.
So celebrating the birth of Christ means we celebrate the birth of Christ consciousness inside us by letting the bliss of the Atman to pour to our body senses. To open our hearts and let the bliss of the self to saturate our being!
So we wish you a Happy Christmas means we wish you to open your heart by overcoming ego and ignorance and experience the unlimited joy that lies inside you, inside your Atman, inside your real self!

A little series, today, of images created from the same shot which was of a collage I put together of different, multi coloured Squashes in a box. I had fun doing these, I hope you like them. The original collage is at the end of the series.
Above the small bridge allowing us access to the far side, the Luibeg Burn tumbles in full spate from the Scottish Highlands, between the rocks. A nice spot to catch ones breath, but no time to linger, I have a fair way to go yet.
