Just when you think its OK to fire the camera up pops a car to spoil the shot of Renown 38 Y438 NHK at Bexhill railway station. It is working route 95 to the Conquest Hospital via Ninfield. Friday 29th April 2016. DSCN 36442.
It was great to see this bus still earning its keep as it used to ply the routes around my locality when based at Bromley.

I started collecting vintage tripods recently, which is crazy I know, but who could resist stuff like this? It came in the original box and it is purrr-fect! I guess that I collect Davidson Star D Tripods now. This is the Conquest model made in the USA in the 1950's and 60's.
A strategy and turn based sci-fi board game. A very fun one too.
(seriously, click the link. You have to see all the units and buildings and stuff...)
if this inspires you to build something similar yourself ( Hell, it inspires me to build one more! ) Go ahead, feel free to do it!
I hope you like it!
Dallโorizzonte vivo e pieno
lame di luce, giavellotti di sole
scagliate dal cielo frastagliato sporco di nuvole,
feriscono cuore, terra e mare
di un paradiso conquistato.
Ma resta solo rapida illusione
che gli occhi non restano saziati
da unโimmagine rara e infinita
che radice vorrebbe mettere,
come la speranza fatta di desideri,
che presenza vorrebbe essere,
come i sogni senza realtร .
Intanto il mare inquieto si mescola
con lโintenso verde della terra
in un abbraccio senza tregua
nel paradiso conquistato.

Porcelain in appearance yet deadly
Designed as a testing platform for new weapons it has now stolen by the legendary mercenary known as Drifter, armed to the teeth the frame and pilot roam the battlefields striking terror into the enemy and gaining respect from allies.
The Drifter was an orphan of war forced to migrate from one place to another after her home was destroyed by rivaling nations. Now without a home or family Drifter now seeks revenge as a soldier of fortune.
The suit can be equipped with numerous armaments which can be stored under the skirt armor with its signature weapon being the lever action rifle shotgun nicknamed โBlind Justiceโ
[Build Notes]
Made this a long time ago but I never got to finish it properly, so after a few tweaks I finally did. I was inspired by the appearance of swans and their large wings and I tried to incorporate that in the form of the removable skirt armor. I havenโt listed any of the armaments yet since itโll be too long but all in all it can store around 11 unique weapons, maybe in the future post some photos of them individually. Anywho tell me what you guys think about it in the comments thanks!

"Conquer the skies with the X-30! G.I.Joe is primarily a special operations force with heavy ground vehicles for support, but it is in a unique position to also include some rotary wing and, most recently, fixed wing combat aircraft. Highly maneuverable and capable of reaching past Mach 2, the X-30 Conquest multirole lightweight fighter gives G.I.Joe command over the battlefield from above.
Missions for the Conquest include strike, anti-armor, close air support, anti-shipping, and reconnaissance; but it shines most in air to air combat, which takes advantage of its speed and agility. A typical air-to-air warload includes four medium range AAMs and a pair of drop tanks for extra range. Until Cobra develops an advanced dedicated fighter of its own, G.I.Joe has the edge in the air, and therefore on the ground and at sea as well."
I've been wanting to build this one for a while. Finally, after numerous helicopters and a couple of ground attack planes, I've built my first fast jet in years. I got the original Conquest back in the day. The X-30 was perhaps not the best known of the G.I.Joe jets, but it was my favorite - big enough to feel like a "big toy", but not so big as to be unwieldy. It came in gray on the toyshelves, but it has often been depicted in white in the comic and cartoon, and I think it looks better this way.

The X-30 was inspired by the real life X-29, which itself was based in no small part on the F-5. I wanted to capture the basic look, which includes most obviously the forward swept wings, but also a cockpit that is placed about a third of the way back.
The canards seem aerodynamically superfluous, and in fact do obstruct the pilot's view a little to the side, but they were part of the classic look, so I decided to leave them alone. I've kept it close to the original, but the fuselage is a little narrower and there are some slight revisions.
As a lightweight fighter, this thing is about the size of an F-16 or Grippen and it is wonderfully swooshable. The construction is a little complicated and fragile, especially in the nose/cockpit area, but is a good compromise between aesthetics, functionality, and structural integrity.
The nose landing gear went through several iterations and I stumbled on the final design (which is a wonderfully simple solution) by accident.
I had wanted to build this one for years, but only got started thanks to inspiration from Matt and Aleks.
