Flamenco Dancer in Barcelona 9/9/2024.
There are many things I love about Flamenco the obvious being the dance and the music but right up there for me is the passion intensity and connection between the dancers and the musicians. the expression and concentration on the guitarists face as he keeps pace with the dancer is wonderful I think.

Three rather indistinct vehicles at Yeovil bus station on 17th Sep 2020.
First 42954 WX06OML is still defiantly wearing its Urban livery and Solent fleetname after 18 months in Yeovil, and began life in Bristol, working at all three depots before heading to Hampshire, at Southampton and then Fareham punctuated by a spell in Weymouth.
Similarly, 44920 YX09AHG was at First Cymru and was at Hengrove depot in Bristol before it headed to Bath and then Hampshire (albeit in Portsmouth) before a spell in Cornwall where it gained green colours before a move to Yeovil.
The Cornish connection is more tenuous with SWC WK11APU, which has a Kernow registration and with its green LED signifies an early life with Western Greyhound.
This is the daughter of one of my best friends. We grew up in the same region and went to schools in the same town, but didn't know each other until we lived at college together at uni in Brisbane. It is always so good to catch up - it may be many years since we lived near each other, but when we do get together, those years melt away...
But this photo represents so much more than that. This photo represents all those friendships and relationships I have from my days at school and uni and beyond. It represents all my family, immediate and extended. It represents the people who have been in my life significantly in one way or another, but now live a distance apart. We might not get to see each other as often as I would like, but when we do.....well, everything is right and life is perfect.

Nearest, A Class 153 in Transport for Wales livery will shortly depart with service 2J48, 0919 to Shrewsbury (all station). Standing alongside is a West Midlands Trains Class 350 'Desiro', still carrying the colours of the previous occupant of the West Midlands franchise, London Midland, forming 1U24 0913 to London Euston. 2 tank trains from 2 different railroads were set to head thru Tolleston this morning. First up is an eastbound CSX K672-26 with ethanol from Blue Island/IAIS to West Baltimore, MD. New connections to reach CN's Kirk Yard can be seen just off to the right of the leader, an arrangement that will eventually see the replacement of the unique "G" Style signal hardware presently in place here.
