Kokopelli, Saguaro Cactus and Road Runner - all associated with Arizona, resting on an Arizona tote bag dyed with red dirt.

Since I spent a lot of time cleaning up this photo, I wanted to make the most of it, because I wasn't very excited about the composition. So I got a little crazy in photoshop. I mirrored the image, added some elements and played around with the contrast and levels a little more.

Oh my...my friends are so beautiful haha!

The idea behind this photo is that she's connecting with the wind. She feels that conncetion and she's kind of letting go everything and fully accepting the element.

To be honest I haven't expect that it would turn out so good because there was a lot of sun everywhere and we couldn't find a good spot for what I wanted to do and when I opened it in Photoshop I was very surprised haha!

I will definitely ask Adela to do another photoshoot with me because she's just perfect! Look at her! She's gorgeous!

This seastack along the Yesnaby Coastal Path has not yet fully separated from the adjacent cliff face.

My research into locations to visit during our full day on Orkney indicated this seaside trail featured a sea stack ... and we saw two actually. This was our last stop for the day and did not disappoint.

Again a single long time exposure of a church in Remagen. And again using wide open aperture at 9mm.

A pedestrian travels the public art illuminated bridge between the Air Canada Centre and the Maple Leaf Square tower. It is comprised of a motion sensitive mulitcoloured LED lighting system with programmed lighting patterns that respond to human movement. The project, called "Connection" (2010) was commissioned by Cadillac Fairview, Lanterra Developments & Maple Leaf Sports and designed by United Visual Artists Ltd. Soheil Mosun Limited fabricated and installed the lighting system.

Heathrow, 25th Febuary 2015.

Before a ship could be secured to a dock, a connection had to be made between the two — no easy task across a gap of open water. A light line with a weighted end was thrown first, then used to haul the heavy mooring lines across. These heaving line weights from the working waterfront of Willapa Bay did that job: the rope knotwork concentrated at the base of each tapered form added heft for throwing while absorbing the punishment of repeated impact on dock planking and ship decking. The wear on the rear examples bears witness to a life of hard use. The spherical monkey's fist at center right represents the same principle in its most classic sailor's form.

Sorry for my long absence friends, lately I have completely lost interest in flickr. If I came back is just because some of you ... (as Kaisa. I love you, you know? ... ) Am I back? I still don't know ...

There was an extensive spider web connection between these garden flowers that were quite fascinating. Took this in a local garden on a sunny day. I did not see the spider that created this magic art.

The irony about this shot is that we are in a little tiff today. And by little tiff I mean, he is horribly wrong and I am waiting for him to realize it.

No, I am kidding. We do have it all worked out, but I just giggle that this is my post this morning. The truth is, I wouldn't want to fight with anyone but him.

Wisconsin Central SD45 6503 leads an empty Minorca taconite train of C&NW ore jennies around the connection at Hermansville, MI in February 2000. I still struggle to believe that the C&NW-WC diamond is gone and the two routes have been consolidated through this area.

Another connection between 2 container railroad cars. Different than the previous. Also note the small link chain between these cars. Does anyone really think that the small chain can stop two 75 ton rail cars from separating? LOL

Also note all the cryptic scratches and chalk marks on the side of the car. Anyone know what that is?
