A pedestrian travels the public art illuminated bridge between the Air Canada Centre and the Maple Leaf Square tower. It is comprised of a motion sensitive mulitcoloured LED lighting system with programmed lighting patterns that respond to human movement. The project, called "Connection" (2010) was commissioned by Cadillac Fairview, Lanterra Developments & Maple Leaf Sports and designed by United Visual Artists Ltd. Soheil Mosun Limited fabricated and installed the lighting system.

A lot of my social connections are on the internet but I have others as well.

Sorry for my long absence friends, lately I have completely lost interest in flickr. If I came back is just because some of you ... (as Kaisa. I love you, you know? ... ) Am I back? I still don't know ...

There was an extensive spider web connection between these garden flowers that were quite fascinating. Took this in a local garden on a sunny day. I did not see the spider that created this magic art.

Theme of the week #5: connection.

Still messing with natural light

Another connection between 2 container railroad cars. Different than the previous. Also note the small link chain between these cars. Does anyone really think that the small chain can stop two 75 ton rail cars from separating? LOL

 

Also note all the cryptic scratches and chalk marks on the side of the car. Anyone know what that is?

This is one of my favorites from that particular roll of slide film. I don't know what sort of plant or flower it was, or which combination of reversed lenses I used, but the blue drives me happily crazy. And that's enough for me.
