Crystal Radios are a blast and they are so basic, but they need decent connections for everything to work.
I went to Salisbury Cathedral today to photograph the Reflection: Glass Exhibition

Go North East's Washington-based Mercedes-Benz Citaro, 5360 (BX63BCU), which carries 'Connections 4' branded livery is pictured on Dairy Lane, Houghton-le-Spring, on the 21st April 2021.
Whilst we were relieved to find our hotel in Amreli accepted foreigners, the alarm to head back to the station for the 06:25 departure after what had been an almost 24 hour day was less welcome. YDM4 no.6338 did its best to keep us awake, providing much entertainment over the two hour journey to Visavadar Junction as daylight broke on our second morning in India.
Although not timetabled to connect, the morning train from Amreli to Junagadh Junction often meets the first departure off Junagadh Jn to Delvada and many passengers do make the connection. Train no.09532 07:15 Junagadh Jn to Delvada is in the hands of YDM4 no.6565, the only class member we saw in this attractive blue livery and is seen awaiting departure from Visavadar Jn. Classmate YDM4 no.6338 has detached from the stock of train no.09539 06:25 from Amreli and is in the process of running round in preparation to depart for Junagadh Junction on 2nd November 2022.

This is one of my favorites from that particular roll of slide film. I don't know what sort of plant or flower it was, or which combination of reversed lenses I used, but the blue drives me happily crazy. And that's enough for me.

The Soviet locomotive class FD (Russian: ФД) was a Soviet main freight steam locomotive type. Between 1932 and 1942, 3213 locomotives were built.
History
A locomotive was created in connection with the industrialization conducted in the USSR. Planning occupied only 100 days, and general time of building made 170 days. For his creation designers used American experience of creation of steam locomotives. The first locomotive was built at the Lugansk Locomotive Factory in 1931 and sent for a show to Moscow.
Tests on which a locomotive got a good estimation were conducted in 1932. In a that year at the Voroshilovgradskom plant passed to the mass production of ФД20 locomotives. In the process of production their construction got better constantly. From beginning of Great Patriotic war in 1941, a production was interrupted, only in 1942, 4 locomotives were built in Ulan Ude. Total production was 2927 locomotives of ФД20, and 286 locomotives of ФД21. The two subclasses only differed in the type of superheater.
The locomotives of ФД left on areas with high turnover of goods. They worked on 23 from 43 railways of the USSR, including in Siberia and on Ural. From middle of 1950, in connection with passing to the diesel engines and electric locomotives, the locomotives of ФД began to be pushed aside from work. Also in 1958–1960 about 1000 locomotives were passed to China.
