Persone davvero speciali. Chin State 2016
Elephants are incredible creatures. The largest land mammals on earth, they show a wide range of behavioral and emotional patterns in their up-to-60-year lifespans. They grieve over the bodies of dead herd members, and can even recognize their own reflections in a mirror. And, of course, there's that old saying: "Elephants never forget." While it may be an exaggeration, there's more truth to the adage than you might realize.
In the wild, an elephant’s memory is key to its survival—and its herd’s. Each herd has a matriarchal structure, with one older female in charge. When younger males in the group reach sexual maturity—usually around 14 years of age—they leave the herd to roam solo or occasionally form groups with other males. Proof of elephants' long memories lies in their behavior: When confronted with an unfamiliar elephant, matriarchs will huddle in defensive positions because they realize that those elephants could pose a threat to the herd's safety.

The Rise of Skywalker is absolute chaos, and the story is just so bad by the end. Amazing performances from Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, etc. Greatest visuals ILM has ever contributed to Disney-era Star Wars as well, but the film is so rushed and broken. It did need to be longer 😞
It’s honestly heartbreaking because I loved the cast. They found the perfect actors to steer Star Wars into the future with this trilogy, but now there will always be so much wasted potential. So much wasted time.
This exciting mess may be the conclusion to the sequel trilogy, but to me it will never be the conclusion to the main saga. All of this since 2015 has felt like an extension - not a continuation.
Anyway, mini showcase featuring my final(?) custom LEGO Rey & updated Kylo Ren will be coming to the channel soon! Just a little more work to do.

The lion (Panthera leo) is a species in the family Felidae; it is a muscular, deep-chested cat with a short, rounded head, a reduced neck and round ears, and a hairy tuft at the end of its tail. It is sexually dimorphic; adult male lions have a prominent mane, which is the most recognisable feature of the species. With a typical head-to-body length of 184–208 cm they are larger than females at 160–184 cm. It is a social species, forming groups called prides. A lion pride consists of a few adult males, related females and cubs. Groups of female lions usually hunt together, preying mostly on large ungulates. The lion is an apex and keystone predator, although some lions scavenge when opportunities occur, and have been known to hunt humans, although the species typically does not. Typically, the lion inhabits grasslands and savannas, but is absent in dense forests. It is usually more diurnal than other big cats, but when persecuted it adapts to being active at night and at twilight. African lions live in scattered populations across Sub-Saharan Africa. The lion prefers grassy plains and savannahs, scrub bordering rivers and open woodlands with bushes. It is absent from rainforest and rarely enters closed forest. 26804

As many of you know I love Castle building, it's so easy to pack in detail with that theme, which is why it's one of my favourite things to do when building. So Castle and Marvel in the one vig? Why not! I've had the Doom figure lying around since I bought the set it came in, so what's that... 2013? Man 5 years now. Anyway yes super glad I finally got to use this figure in a MOC. For me collecting figs is fun, it's nice to have them sure, but it's only worth it when I can put them in a MOC. So I used this MOC as a way to display some other figs that I have yet to come up with concepts for MOC's to put them in. The Sentry figure is from bigkidbrix, if you are wondering ;)
But yeah, love building throne rooms like this, makes me want to do more, it was great fun to combine two of my favourite themes in the one vig like this. Would love to do it again!

Vincent Mauger works around a problematic centered on the search for materialization, concretization of what would be a mental space. By mental space, he understands both the construction of thoughts that face a space or a place, and the virtual universes and mathematical or schematic constructions elaborated so that everyone can project himself into a non-existent or distant space.
He often confronts a real space, the place of exhibition, with a representation of a mental perception of another space. From ordinary building materials, he reconstructs landscape representations close to synthetic imagery or mathematical and schematic constructions. It combines real and concrete construction techniques with virtual or scientific imaging techniques. The principles of assembly of the pieces remain visible: the spectator can seize them mentally and imagine to continue the construction or modify its configuration.
The sculptures are made from simple materials: wood, fabrics, tiles, plastic and metal tubes. These materials remain identifiable but the way they are used creates a shift from their ordinary appearance. These sculptures are kind of sketches, sketches developing in space. Thus, inside a building, we discover pieces of landscapes, in a way extensions of space, concretizing both mental images and places for reflection.
A boy with a stone (in his left hand) confronts the heavily armed Egyptian military police at a barbed wire barricade in central Cairo just south of Tahrir Square. The road is littered with stones thrown by both homeless youths and SCF soldiers, who would also resort to tear gas and (on many other days) bullets.

While most protesters in Tahrir Square were committed to peaceful demonstration at any price, and while the government and media denounced stone throwing "hooligans", sentencing those arrested to years in prison (often regardless of whether they had been throwing stones or not), many of the boys and young men (and occasionally young women) involved in such incidents didn't appear to be aiming to injure but rather putting on a symbolic act of defiance against a regime and its security forces which had deprived them and those close to them of any hope or fair chance in life. Many children however lost their lives and many others were abused and tortured once in police custody.

Am I the only one there who is seriously bugged by people who think they can do whatever they want? Who think that rules of social coexistence are made for others but not for them? Who carelessly break the rules putting other peoples health and happiness at risk for their own short-lived fun? And who become insolent and rude if they are politely confronted with their faults?
Here in Germany, we have a thing called reduced-traffic area where walking speed is the maximum speed for cars so that kids are safer when they are playing on the road? Last year I saw a local resident driving at at least 30mph in such an area. When I approached and asked him if he was aware of the speed limit and the fact that children might be playing there, he screamed at me to shut up and go away. And his wife informed me that the kids were obliged to leave the road anyway when a car approaches.
So, this image is about this situation although it was taken only a few days ago in a completely different place.
Technically, this is a montage of three long exposure photos. I could only expose for about 10-15 seconds before the image was getting to bright and blown out. It took the cars much longer to drive the long distance around the corner, so I couldn't get one shot of one complete light trail. I took three: One for light trails in the distance, one for the light trails in the corner and one for the light trails in the foreground. I composed them using Pixelmator and then did the color keying and monochrome work in Nik Silver Efex. It was fun. Looking back, I am glad I had to use three different shots because one flawless light trail might have turned out too boring.
Enjoy!

I was confronted by the Mckinstry Hill gang today. A couple of Thanksgivings ago, they ate my internet. Really, they ate the box for our data phone line. So you can say we have history - and i have the feeling they are out to get me.

Today is #StrangerSaturday and it is time to present to you my last Season 3 MOC and the finale of my Vignette series:
The group discusses a way to stop and kill the monster. Hopper and Joyce plan to infiltrate the Russian base under the mall in order to destroy the key to open the Gate, while Dustin and Erica will offer navigational assistance using his radio transmitter from atop Weathertop. Eleven offers to help Hopper but he asserts that he needs her safe, since the Mind Flayer is after her. The two then share an embrace, before the group departs to take Eleven to Murray's warehouse.
Hopper, Joyce, and Murray descend into the Russian base while Steve and Robin take Dustin and Erica to the transmitter. Meanwhile, as the group was leaving with El, they find their car's ignition cable lost and Billy blocking the road with his car. The group resorts back to the mall. Mike attempts to raise Dustin via the radio transmitter but to no avail. When the group tries to take out the ignition cable from the car Eleven wrecked earlier, Eleven finds herself too weakened to evoke her powers. Moments later, Mike, Max and El witness the Mind Flayer looming atop the mall's roof. Mike warns Nancy before he and Max help El to hide. Just then, the Mind Flayer crashes through the mall's roof and searches for them.
After figuring out that the group is trapped, Steve and Robin hurry back. At the mall, Lucas uses his slingshot to distract the Mind Flayer from attacking El, Mike, and Max, long enough to get both the group out of the mall.
As Jonathan, Nancy, Will, and Lucas attempt to flee, Billy rushes to ram their vehicle only to be slammed by Steve's car. Billy chases Max, Mike, and El while the Mind Flayer pursues Steve and the group.
At the mall, despite Mike and Max's efforts, Billy knocks them out and seizes Eleven, taking her to the Mind Flayer. As the Mind Flayer approaches El, Steve and the group arrive in time and throw firework explosives, preventing it from attacking her. Eleven recalls the memories she saw of Billy's childhood and reaches out to him which breaks him out of the Mind Flayer's control. Billy then confronts the Mind Flayer and sacrifices himself to stop it from taking Eleven.
I hope you like this Vignette and of course I would be pleased to get feedback. opefully, you enjoyed my Stranger Things vignette series, I had a lot of fun building and sharing them with you.

Taken inside Frisch's Big Boy Mainliner restaurant in the Fairfax suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.
As you enter the restaurant you are confronted by this large mural on the wall while waiting to be seated. This particular restaurant in the chain was recently redecorated with photos and memorabilia celebrating the company's history. While in HS, we used to cruise the parking area area looking for friends and cars or motorcycles to do a little street racing with. Oh and we were always on the lookout for the girls. I guess we were trying to mimic what was going on in California at the time.

L'Ancrage dans l'Ontons
Elara s'ancra dans son centre. Elle se rappela les catégories ontologiques :
* Le Corps : Il est un arrangement de Sonolux en constante Manifestcessation. Sa dissolution est naturelle ; c'est une Exo-Cause biologique.
* L'Êtreton : Il est la Ligne III de l'opération, le Témoin Muet. Il est méta-vacuitisé ; il est au-delà du concept de la naissance et de la mort.
* L'Ontons (Rigpa) : C'est le Royaume A-Causal, l'Êtreté illimitée.
* Elle accepta la Cessation imminente de son corps physique (Pairal Mater).
* Elle s'identifia totalement et uniquement à l'Ontons (l'immortalité A-Causale).
