I don't want to go out in the cold. Do you see where it says, "Feels Like: -40"? It makes me want to stay in bed all day.
As near as I am able to determine, the conditions on the lake were perfect for nice sunrise. There was a thin mist on the lake. The skies were mostly clear with a few high clouds and some very high (25,000 ft.) thin cirrus clouds. In other words, exactly what I look for in a sunrise. I even had a full moon on the other side of the sky (to the west). And nothing happened. I will never figure this sunrise thing out.
Anyway, here's another one from the trip out West. It's from White Ranch Open Space Park -- 30 miles west of (and overlooking) Denver.

Creel washed up during stormy conditions at Reiss Beach.
The creel was seen being dragged along the beach towards Wester River a few days before during stormy conditions. It was subsequently washed further south along the beach and dumped by the sea under the dunes.

Mount Antero is typically rated at Class 2, but the ridgeline turns into Class 3+ with snow and ice packed in.

I went to Niagara on the Lake with a lovely couple for their engagement photos. Despite the chilly winds and near rainy conditions we got some good shots and nobody got rained on. All in all a success.
Relaxing conditions away from the surf and undertows of the west coast.
