Considering the conditions I am relatively pleased with this shot.

Polly leading off up what became a two pitch traverse of frozen rock. Very indicative of conditions to follow. She was not excited by this point.

Conditions for Progress: Strengthening America's Health Care Ecosystem

The policy summit focused on health care's role as a significant part of the U.S. economy and how we must understand it as part of an interconnected system facing significant challenges that are not limited to any one sector.

2017 July 1-2

Namibia

On July 1, The Namibia Domestic and Allied Workers Union (NDAWU) began a workshop of shop-steward on conditions of employment and dispute resolutions.

Early in the morning they started with a march to commemorate the International Domestic Workers Day and asking for decent rights for domestic workers. It attracted the community around to see what was happening.

New workers joined the NDAWU after the march. A refugee from Angola recruited to become a member of the union.

The workshop started on leadership capacity building for the leaders and workers of the NDAWU. Meetings with domestic workers was to discuss the minimum wage and other matters relating to domestic work is decent work and decent work needs decent pay.

On the second day of the workshop, it was for the new members and leaders in Namibia. Workers were proud to be in a union.

Conditions in these places, while not the worst you can imagine, were not great.

After Instagram decided to play silly buggers with their terms & conditions I had a long think about what I would do. I do not agree with the actions Instagram have taken nor do I agree with their handling of the situation after users kicked off. Instagram may be a free service looking for ways to make money but that does not excuse their blatant disregard for & lack of respect for their users... The people they were ultimately trying to con.

Yahoo has recently put some effort into making Flickr a much better website, they've made the app worth while & it just looks like they're going to learn from their mistakes of the past (none of which include attempted right grabs as Instagram tried).

So I've decided to shut down my Instagram account and have now transferred all those photos to Flickr.

It's the only real power a consumer has when dealing with huge corporates like this & I choose to exercise it.

Race Day for the 8 Hour Indy Ka 500 saw each Team at Brands Bright and Early for what would be a Spectacular Day of Racing with Unpredictable Weather Conditions set thought the 8 Hour Race it was shaping up to be a Race where Anything Goes.

Thought the First 2 Hours most cars managed to stay on the Track with a couple of Spins down at the Bottom of Paddock Hill Bend as the Drivers bedded in their tyres to allow them to set Faster Lap Times.

4 Hours in and the Weather Conditions Darkened with light Rain and Drizzle starting to fall giving the Already slippery track even less grip than before making Driving Conditions very Unpredictable as each Driver Raced around the Indy Circuit.

At the 6 Hour Mark Darkness began to fall turning the Daytime Race into a Night-time one where Drivers now had to adapt to the Darkening conditions around the Track with the light fading and headlights on full Blast, The only visibility they had as they Continued the Race.

The 8th and Final Hour saw a few Cars end up Spinning out at the Bottom of Paddock Hill Bend and Even one KA That Managed to Roll too but the Driver was okay after Medical Staff checked him over. The same couldn't be said for the car However.

As the Minutes ticked down and the Cars came flying across the line onto their Final Lap and when the Checkered Flagged dropped it was Octane Junkies Adam Smith Martin Smith and Bazza Ward who had Won the 2020 Indy Ka 500 with Piston Heads Matt Dell Charles Rainford Oliver Lewis and Ben Lowden in Second Place while Stuburn Motorsport David Stubbs Andrew Burns and Jack Burns Took Third Place.

The best Presented Daytime Car Award went the way of Tango and Crash (Gary Buckingham Jack Buckingham Chris Keys Jon Senior)

The Best Nigh time Car Award went to Shine Automotive (Justin Roberts Matt Eldridge Wayne Clelland and Colin French)

Finally The Fastest Overall Lap Completed was done by IP Racing Adam Blair Oliver Wilmot and Matt Rivett with a Time of 1:04.123.

A Fantastic End to Another Amazing and Competitive Season of Motorsport Across the Country.

Congratulations to all the Race Winners and See You All Next Year!!!!!
