Photo taken for the August 29, 2022 Macro Mondays theme: condiments.
These are pretty much staples in our house: nori komi furikake (primarily seaweed & sesame seeds) & beni shoga (pickled ginger). After the photo was taken, the subjects were eaten. :p
Horseradishy cocktail sauce is the perfect condiment for shrimp. You are entitled to disagree, of course.
#Condiment
A Macro Mondays submission on the topic "Condiment". Most condiments taste much more interesting than they look, but these salt crystals take on a new personality when seen in closeup. They were placed on a shiny teaspoon and placed in sunlight, which reflected off the spoon and shone through the crystals.
Bisto ... Ahhh !!!
The jar that the Bisto granules are in measures approx 5.08 cm (2 ins).
A link for those who don't know what Bisto is:
Turned it into a circle as I thought it looked a bit more interesting.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)
John 6:27 New International Version (NIV)
27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”

THEME: CONDIMENTS
For this week's Theme, I stopped by a couple of local fast food restaurants and asked 2 packets of their most popular condiments.
Ketchup closeup - I always look at the texture of ketchup when squirting a spiral on my plate, good excuse to capture the surprisingly non-smooth surface. (Hopefully not the 200th Ketchup). HMM.
A collection of pickles, lemons, Raisins and Ketchup.
All in a condiment dish.

Thank you for all your views 👀, favs 👍, and comments👅!
For the Macro Mondays theme of 'Condiments' -the best I could come up with because our home is full of workmen's dust , rubble, plaster etc etc due to Home Improvements and with most things put away for safety. I'm also sharing my kitchen with my neighbour whilst she has her own kitchen refurbished. HMM!
Here's a belated (by one day) Merry Christmas to all my Facebook friends. May this next year be your best year ever!
Yes, you guessed correctly, this is another old photo, from my trip to Norway's Lofoten Islands, way back in February 2015.
I'll be taking some time off from all social media for a while... so until we meet again... have a fabulous new year everyone! ;)
