For Macro Mondays - Condiments.
We buy a blend of Pink Salt and Black Peppercorns to season food.
Happy Macro Monday!
For Macro Mondays theme "condiments", this is crushed red pepper sprinkled on scrambled eggs. This is a very small section of the dish, but the eggs were scrambled with dauteed onion and italian sausage.
A favorite here at our home, my homemade Mango salsa! We love it with grilled Salmon, Chicken, or grilled pork......or ........, just with tortilla chips!

Last Christmas, a very dear friend gave me a Se Très Or (gold salt) and Noir et Très Or (gold and black pepper) for my Christmas table because I use a gilt edged white Royal Albert Val D’or dinner set. Made in France this set are quite unique to me, and I love having them on my table when I have a special occasion, as no-one else has seen such condiments before either. There is something rather magical about sprinkling gold dust across your dinner!
The theme for “Smile on Saturday” is “spices and condiments”. I thought this Christmas condiments set were quite unusual and are also very appropriately festive for this time of year, so I have photographed them in front of my Christmas tree, decked with Christmas decorations.
Tiny teaspoon on the left- French mustard- Europe

This image was created for Macro Mondays # Condiment.
A fried egg on a finger of toast, topped with a dollop of brown sauce.
I used a 2 inch wide cutter to cut around the edges of the egg to make the whole image, including negative space, just slightly less than 3 inches.
I would like to thank Julius V for kindly providing the following information.

a wonderful macro and excellent details Jacqueline
I know where the egg came from but Daddies Sauce ??
In 1899 Edwin Samson Moore the owner of the Midland Vinegar Company Aston Cross Birmingham made a visit to one of his customers who owed him a debt for vinegar. That man was Frederick Gibson Garton a Nottingham grocer who had a small sauce factory at the rear of his premises. The recently published book HP Sauce My Ancestors Legacy tells the story of how Mr Samson Moore on visiting Mr Garton saw a sauce brewing in the back copper. Mr Garton explained it was his new sauce called HP Sauce. Samson Moore cancelled the debt and paid Mr Garton £150 approx £20,000 in today's money for the recipe of HP Sauce and also other sauces including Daddies Sauce.
The Macro Mondays theme for this week is Condiments . This is dill seed that is in the garden and will save the seed for next year.

This is one of my favorite low-calorie snacks. Graham cracker with low-fat cream cheese, blueberries and a drizzle of honey. Tastes just like blueberry cheesecake. :o)))
