Last year, I was invited to do a photoshoot with the new Bristol Bullet. It's quite a rare brand and they have not made many cars. The Bullet was made for their 70 year anniversary, and a similar number will be build, for £250.000 each. The car is powered with a BMW V8 engine, and thanks to the testdrive they've offered me, I can say without any doubt, that this is a true supercar .. !

Flickr Friday theme Concept. Conceptual Space flight versus reality. Happy Flickr Friday.
the old photographer,;-)
More concept art for my Star Wars daydreaming folder, from some very talented people, including Alex Jay Brady, Adam Kop, Sam Olesen, Jeff Zugle and Raoul Antonia. I've been searching for larger cruisers and things lately but I haven't found much that screams SW as much as the smaller fighters and shuttles, etc.

Obviously this arm is no way near finished, but a preview of what I'm working on anyway. This will be a team of 6-7 characters who will form into one. The goal is to build this with mostly CCBS as the core and also to make everything in a 'set style" in other words something you'd reasonably expect to see in stores with price and part limitations. Mostly because a) it's a cool concept and b) I blow ass at MOCing anything beyond that style anyway LOL
Photoshopped kitbash of the previous concept. The main body of the ship is the laser cannon from a Y-Wing, the cockpit is a PBY Catalina observation blister and there's bits of Gundam stuff in there as well.
Another one with the faux motion app effect. You know, it's the weirdest thing, these doctored still images you see around are like modern day equivalents of the Penrose stairs or M.C. Escher’s Waterfall. No contest in originality obviously, but much like them, these make you feel funny between the ears by just looking at them.
These are pretty big files and it'll take a while to upload them for viewing.
And yes, I am aware the snow goes upwards, but you know, I don't think it's snowing here. It's the fierce Hoth winds blowing it off the ground. :D
FR :
Don't ask me what it is. I don't know myself. We will say, a weird concept of Art Deco 'with techniques that crossed my mind when I woke up ... and which is useless. Just for fun, I'm going to do like Picasso in his cubic period, and name it: Between Earth, Sky and Sea.
PS: and don't ask me why I put the "sky" (white) in the basement. My head was upside down this morning. :D
I went through the photos I still have. I remember the moment I took the first photo of the concept in March 2007. If you look closer it is put on a torchlight for better exposition :)
After some dark times, finally the design speeds up in 2011 to be a playable model in December 2011.
I don't have any reasonable pictures of how the drive train evolved over the time. Somewhere around December 2017 she got working lights. In the first half of 2019 PF Medium motors were replaced by PF Train Motors.
Now the latest revision is waiting for the PFx Brick for control and new lights.
Oh, I almost forgot - there are in total three sisters now ;)

Made these in an attempt to visualize the world I've been developing for a book I'd like to write one day. It's more fun to build LEGO than draw concept art.
From left to right they are: a Royal Soldier, a merchant, a farmer, a milk maid, a book keeper, a sea captain, and an innkeeper.
Also, a note on my absence: I haven't lost interest in LEGO or anything like that, I've just been focusing more on brickfiming lately and haven't really had that much inspriation to MOC. School theater has been keeping me busy, too.
