The little Placeta Milans in the Old District of Barcelona (Ciutat Vella) with the concave buildings, work of Francesc Molina Casamajó in 1853
I love the contrasting geometry of this location in this light. This oasis is situated in a vast, mostly treeless swathe of Scottish mountain and moorland. A place where you wander forever in limbo between light and dark searching for that elusive balance.

Shot on the National highway from Vellore district to Thiruvannamalai , Tamil Nadu , India.
The noise was intentional to make it look film like.

This was captured during a delightful walk along the beach. The banks and large flakes of yellow-coloured foam are a natural phenomenon. These are the remains of dead algae, specifically the species ‘phaeocystis globosa’, generally called foam algae or brown slime algae. The wave action whips these remains into foam.

Our new christmas decorations, looking good on the tree.
Set-up a tripod for these shots. Still going to have a play on how I can get better shots overall.
The coastline takes on a distinct concave-shaped curve in this area.
One of my older pictures, a picture of the shore along a nearby beach, taken during cloudy weather.
Playing with optical illusions. You are actually not in front, but behind the mask - looking out. Our brain is fairly determined to "see" a face approaching us. What seems to be bulging towards you, however, is in fact fleeing from you. You should be able to reverse and "correct" the image - after a while. Mask made from a lead sheet and turned red in macOS High Sierra photo editor.
