I like trackballs ... I miss them on laptops ...
This particular notebook trackball is rather well designed I think. You roll the ball with you thumb and your fingers rest naturally rather close to the buttons.

Some of the computers were pretty wild, and a few had beacons on them. Maybe it's a safety thing like the red beacon on an aircraft? I forgot to ask.
One other thing, I never tuck my computer in before putting it in sleep mode. This guy must really love his computer.

Working on my Unitron Apple II plus clone at my father's house on Avon Lane in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Adding a hole for cables to connect with the computer below reduces the clutter on the deck. The solid maple is beautiful with its 4 coats of cherry stain. The satn feel to the deck and bull-nosed edge makes it beautiful and comfortable to work on.
My computer didn't even last 60days before the motherboard went out. And just to rant some more, When buying a computer one question one might ask is how long do I have to return or price match it? Best Buy tells me 30 days. Looking through the paper I see Fry's have the same computer but for $85 cheaper. Get to Best Buy on day 15! only to be told that I was misinformed and should have been told 14 days and not 30.
