This is my computer photo 1 final that was done in Fall 2008. I worked at a grocery store for 4 years and continuously encountered thousands of products on a daily basis and thought it would be interesting to remove the text from the products using PS so the viewer is left with color and shape.
Companies spend millions of dollars on research and development to decide what colors should be used on their product. This project isn't just a guessing game, but more of admiring the beauty of these products we buy in the store on a daily basis.

One object of Field Day is to "work" as many other stations as you can. There are awards in different categories for doing so. The computer program on the screen is used to log contacts. This particular station was talking to operators as far as California, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Georgia, all from our Illinois site.

The Sinclair was first sub-mini microcomputer I can remember. It was itty bitty compared to a Commodore, or TRS-80, only about 8" wide and hooked up to a TV.
