One of the nastier little level sub-bosses. Although sub-bosses like this don't merit their own cut-scene intro they can be just as tricky as some of the main bosses.
Bomber wave interception by P38 Lightning.
The mission in this case was to protect the American aircraft carrier USS Enterprise from wave after wave of Japanese attack planes. Here I bounce a squadron of Val dive bombers.

... I am not envious of those girls, getting blinded by flashes all day in minimal outfits. I am sure they get decent pay, but still - that's not much to wear.
Head to head pass in the game Wings of Prey. If you look carefully you will see that the Me109's cannon has blown a gapping hole in my La-7's wing!

Here you can see some of the battle damage my plane acquired during a mission in the Wings of Prey demo mission.
Here is an example showing the 'Sweet Spots' which can be used in 'Fishing' for targets.
Yes I have a nice position myself - but more importantly I cover multiple sweet spots from this one location.
Each of these red circles show an area where the enemy is more than likely to appear - as you can see from looking through my sights!
I call this technique 'Fishing' - you are not camping, as you are doing what a Gunner should do - i.e. provide fire support from just behind the assault. Also, the enemy has a fair chance at locating you - so (unlike camping) you must move your location every so often.

Here I play a 'what if' scenario in the Instant Action mission of the game, pitting a Focke Wulf 190 against a Seafire Mk. VII over the Pacific!

I loved Turbo Esprit. I was surprised that it still feels pretty fast, and skidding round corners still just *feels* right, even though the display simply cuts from one straight-ahead view to another.
By the way, this is a street in "Romford".

Heroes of the Pacific: Nice kill shot of me taking down a Zero.
Heroes doesn't seem to make any sort of allowance for payload and it's effect on performance - I managed to dogfight this Zero easily, despite a full load of bombs!

My least favourite version of the Warhawk in Heroes of the Pacific is this P-40N-15.
This is the ultimate upgrade of the P-40 in the game with increased armour, speed and guns. But the colour scheme kinda puts me off - a P-40 without sharks teeth? No thank you!
