I used to have the first version of Rollercoaster Tycoon on my old Gateway computer. Then, when I got my little laptop, the game was no more. I have the game back, thanks to my handy husband, and every once in a while, I take great pleasure in watching people walk off one of my rides and barf.
If you've ever played one of the Diablo series of video games, there's no doubt you've heard this man's voice. It's Michael Gough, the voice actor who portrays Deckard Cain, and created one of the most iconic phrases of video game history, "stay awhile, and listen!" Had the chance to meet him at one of Blizzard's voice actor panels at BlizzCon 2013 -- along with many of the other Diablo 3 voice actors, such as Jennifer Hale and even James Hong (from such films as Big Trouble in Little China and Kung Fu Panda!)
Got their autographs too, which was a real highlight for me at this year's event :-)

Watch Dogs 2 is set in San Francisco and much of the gameplay focuses on getting into and onto buildings. The player lacks the climb anywhere parkour moves of stable mate Assassin's Creed, instead relying on various street furniture and scissor-lifts to get a first foothold.
Both Watch Dogs 2 and its predecessor featured "stepped" architecture which, once the first step is reached, make the rest of the building trivial to scale. As often happens when one loses oneself in the moveset of a game, this architecture tends to jump out in the real world.
My guess is that (outside of video games) such buildings maximise window space or comply with planning regulations, regarding how high they can be in various places on the building's plot. Perhaps the levels help to disguise the true height of the building too, in exactly the opposite way from the visual tricks used in Georgian architecture, in order to make buildings appear taller.

The Shishkebab in use - I actually find this weapon is great for dealing with those nasty Radscorpions.
I had to devote a large segment of my labor force to a navy to transport food from the overseas provinces I conquered. I also never developed any skilled labor using New World products. Also note the shortages of cloth and coal I suffered. I did have a navy of 11 ironclads and 12 raiders, and it was successfully blockading Holland at the end of the game.

Totally destroyed this guy. One of the earliest matches I played after getting Myth, if I recall correctly, thus there were tons of new players who didn't really understand the game yet. Yeah, that really is all that I attributed my victory to. I wasn't very good at first! This is a screenshot from my old Myth fansite that I built in 1997. I even used the email address "mythmaster@geocities.com" for years... Fun times!
