Can't stop to take photo, too busy playing Minecraft. I know, I'll take a photo IN Minecraft! Here's some of the castle I built around an island.

Probably nothing to shout home about for some more experienced knife weilding players, but I'm not a big knife user so I'm quite proud of this little streak.
I managed to flank right round the back of the US side on the Hill map, coming back at them via the 'C' flag. I really caught them knapping - and looking the wrong way - and took out 5 of thier guys in succession with my combat knife!
Aside from the evil pleasure in doing this what made this extra amusing was that I knew that somewhere in the real world my victims were watching what I was doing on thier 'death cam' and were undoubtedly screaming 'HE'S BEHIND YOU!' at thier unfortunate team mates who I was about to shank!
The other very satisfying thing about this streak was that it ended on a sniper - without doubt there can be little more enjoyable experience that stabbing a sniper while they are consumed with thier business.
After reading a lot of stellar reviews (and already being a fan of Firaxis Games' work) I decided to pick up the new XCOM game today. It's a turn-based tacital strategy game in which you defend Earth from alien invasion. I've played for several hours tonight and it's freakin' Xcellent! (See what I did there ;-)
Since I've done this CD holding shot for lots of other games, I decided to mix it up today with some image inverting and blue-tinting inspired by the game's box-art style.

One of the nastier little level sub-bosses. Although sub-bosses like this don't merit their own cut-scene intro they can be just as tricky as some of the main bosses.
Formerly believed to be a mythical creature, ubiquitous in video games for their usefulness in blocking LoS (line of sight) and adding cover using minimal geometry, it turns out that sometimes stacks of crates do actually exist in the real world too!
Heroes of the Pacific: Dusk air combat in my US Navy Corsair. I've said it before, but Heroes of the Pacific does do nice skies!

This is my second run through of the game, this time as the - very popular - soldier class.
If you are going to do the game on your own - single player - then this is the best all-round class. Especially as you get a nice remote and shielded gun turret to help you out!

I loved Turbo Esprit. I was surprised that it still feels pretty fast, and skidding round corners still just *feels* right, even though the display simply cuts from one straight-ahead view to another.
By the way, this is a street in "Romford".
