From the 1996 film, "Computer Escapes"...

With more time to kill, Jack and I checked out Paul Allen's Living Computer Museum and saw old home computers and mainframes, many of which allow interaction.

Dinky watching the "talking cats" clip on youtube. He didn't pay any attention to the other clips but seemed to want to listen in on the conversation between these two cats.

I guess I'm just glad he didn't insist on using the iPad.

Do you really think I spend too much time on the computer?

Mi herramienta multitarea. Va conmigo a todos lados: ha visto sol, lluvia, nieve, arena, viento, aviones, barcos, sesiones Dj, conciertos metal y todo lo que se te pueda ocurrir...

The beauty of our laptop's keyboard is marred by the "h" key's absence.

Don't laugh, is a Pentium II

"THE" IBM PC. This machine marked the beginning of the era of the PC.

PC's became modular and the parts and software became standardized and interchangeable, and therefore inexpensive for both business and personal use. This one machine is where the entire modern age of computers really began.

It also spawned an epic war between IBM's PC and Apple Computer's MAC, that still rages some 30 odd years later.

This is my old computer. Only it for minor tasks, like print or some statistical jobs.

And it just so happens, by coincidence, that this works for the MacroMonday theme "Black" also. So HMM!

Are you looking for a refurbished desktop computer ? Don't panic, a wide range of used, tested and refurbished computers are available at one place. The range of computers is available for sale at the best possible prices.

My little Homee is featured on my Desktop.

Laptop is sitting on a Zaltman Notebook cooler. It helps about 5C, bought it when I was having some overheating problems. Turns out that the laptop was clogged up with dust, but I prefer the loan drone of the laptop cooler to the higher pitch the laptop makes. Thats assuming I can even hear it over the Boston Speakers :)

If you love computers then you will probably love this card too! The computer card is designed to be used for any occasion as you can write your own message on the 'computer screen' section of the card.

The inside of the card looks like a laptop computer complete with keyboard and screen.

Card size folded: 5.8''x3.8''or 14.5x10cm

Illustrations and fonts used are digitally reproduced from original pen drawing.

This card has been printed on light grey 290gsm paper and it has a lovely rough surface. It comes with a light blue color envelope.

All cards are packaged in a plastic wrapper for protection.

All cards are shipped in a regular envelope with a cardboard backing to help ensure that no bending or folding takes place.

The card has the Venerate logo printed on the back. The card has been cut, folded and packaged by hand.

This is the most favorite computer I used. My Apple IIGS got the signature of Apple II pioneer and its God - Steve Wozniak, the limited edition of Apple IIGS. Hey, though the Apple IIGS display is too blurred now, but the entire set except the monitor is workable!

My IIGS also has Vulcan 40MB hard disk with 512MB RAM, and 9MHz 65816 processor upgrade card from Applied Engineering. GS/OS 5.x loaded. Unfortunately, there is no Flickr group for Apple II, so I sent this to Macintosh groups.

這台電腦是我的最愛,Apple IIGS,國內大概很少人聽過吧,簡單地說,就是 Apple II 的 16bit 版加上 Mac OS 的使用者界面。這台真是超讚的機器,我花了很多時間在這台上,學了 65816 的組合語言,再加上 GS/OS 的 API call(C、Pascal、65816 assembly)。

The first comercial arcade game, Computer Space, developed by Nolan Bushnell, was based on the classic video game SpaceWar!, and was released in 1971. Though it did not did sell well, Bushnell would nonetheless make a much bigger name for himself when he went on to found Atari.
