Met een jaarlijkse terugkerende awardshow waarvoor Live Solutions concept en uitvoering doet, onderhoudt en versterkt de uitgever de relatie met sponsoren en adverteerders. De Computable Awards 2011 vonden dit jaar plaats in Huis ter Duin.

 

Niets is onmogelijk!

De 6e editie van Computable Awards wilde wij naar een hoger niveau tillen. Tijdens het creatieve proces werd het idee geboren om te gaan projecteren op een zwart projectie doek. Een enorme uitdaging, maar niets is onmogelijk. Op negen losse projectie schermen werd de ontworpen content getoond. Het resultaat was verbluffend.

HISTORY

Pillar completed 25th April 1958 costing £65.14s.4d. Computed by Distomat survey as secondary triangulation station NG80/DM/2 within the Fort William secondary block during 1958. Flush bracket S9719 was levelled for height to first class precision, tertiary standards in August 1958. This pillar station was last maintained by the Ordnance Survey in April 1978.

 

SITE VISIT

Approached from SSW. Parked off the SW side of the unclassified road at NG648118. Headed straight up a steep slope to the northeast keeping to the right of the valley, crossed Allt a Ghasgain onto a northerly route negotiating the undulating terrain to the summit. Rocky outcrop on open heather clad moor. The pillar is in good condition. The spider centre is open. The flush bracket faces southwest compass measurement 213°. Vented through frint (SW) and back (NE) sight holes, the innards are filled with debris.

International Symposium on Grid Computing 2008 Sights of Taiwanese pop culture at the Ximen station

Wearables and Smart Textiles Workshop at Interface-University of Ulster, Belfast. This had been a fantastic workshop with textile designers from Interface research lab. We explored physical computing, programming, smart textiles and built a soft circuit bracelet and a secret message glove!
