This big Compressor is sitting at my house. I want to get rid of it,but I don't know how. It's pretty cool looking though. Wish I could just cut the face off of it and mount it on a wall.
The largest (that I am aware of) in the Kismet range of pumps by William Turner & Bro LTD of Sheffield England.
The one has been restored with considerable effort!
Pictures of the air compressor I bought on eBay, half torn apart. Someone had added a larger-than-stock dual-piston pump head and a bigger motor to get more CFM. The head had been badly abused (run without an air filter, who knows what other indignities it suffered) and it did not work well. Leaks everywhere.
I tore it down as far as it seemed to need, turned over the reed valves and cleaned up their sealing surfaces, and now it works great!
