Old compressor that I thought had a cool look to it.

Der Industriekomplex wurde ab 1987 stillgelegt und teilweise demontiert. Er ist heute ein Industriemuseum des Landschaftsverbandes Westfalen-Lippe (LWL).

Abandoned compressors hall, disused from many years.

 

The compressors were equipped with measuring devices produced by the famous "MERA-KFAP" Measuring Apparatus Factory from Kraków city.

 

P.S. These compressors system looks like Jar Jar Binks from Star Wars ;)

In the Compressor Room for the big Airship Hanger at the Tillamook Air Museum. This would have been used to fill the Airships with Helium, during World War II.

 

Too many memories for me off this platform and on this station; the soundtrack of wheel squeal and compressors coming into action in the background.
