Double whammy this week! Thought I'd try out a few different compositions and compile them as a collage then had this gorgeous ribbon around my birthday cake which just added to the 'composed' theme!

I composed this shot this way to show how wooden roof shingles look. I took it this way so that it looks like the roof goes on forever. The depth and patterns of the shot interests me. I want the viewer to feel longing towards the unknown. Shot in manual.

The thinker by Fred Wang

I had an impromptu photoshoot with one of my friends. He was sick, and I was ill-prepared, but we had some fun. Personally, I think this picture captures his natural inquisitiveness.

This was shot with a Sony a65 with the Sony SAL70200G at 75mm at f/8 at ISO100. There's a flash with an umbrella just off to the side.
