This project was an improvisation exercise. I cut triangles from cardboard that were variable in size and glued them together. I tried to make a model with impressive angles and volume that could be either a sculpture or an avant-garde building.

Composing this shot was difficult. I wanted to show the texture of the wood, but also make the wood ring look out through a window. I like how it came out, because you can still see texture from the inner part of the ring while the outline is more of a silhouette.

I deliberately used a wide aperture to keep just the butterfly in focus. Not sure if this really works though.
It's a great shot by bertrudestein, and he would probably be mad I put it up on my stream, but luckily he never checks my site and is far too lazy to put up pictures on his stream! It's just a shame for his talent to stay locked away on iPhoto!

I composed this picture this way because when i took the first couple of shots they where too bright because the dolls dress is a bright color then it made the picture look overexposed so i decided to just take a close up of her upper body. Something that makes this picture interesting to me is the expression the dolls face and the way her body is composed, and all the small details that can be seen from me having taken the picture this up close. An emotion that i'm trying to convey in this picture is ones again calmness and relaxation because there is not a lot of bright colors that make the picture stand out.
That moment in time when you capture something completely composed by love. There is nothing that can replicate this.
for his trip to the moon Gumby chose to take his trusty sidekick Pokey along. afterall, since everything looks the same he might get lost and would need the company.
stay tuned for more adventures.
Big salad dinner with gifted home canned salmon. In making my sourdough starter I had a hard time throwing away so much as I fed it. Decided to use some in a bread but it turned out very heavy/not very leavened.
