four of my faves.
salad components are important to making and enjoying a good salad.
personally, I don't go for french fries and meat in my salads.
just veggies.
cukes are a must, along with onions!
I put onions in everything.
it's probably my favorite component!!

For a prototype solar-power wireless weather monitor, I grabbed a bunch of components from SparkFun. Here's the component parts before I start in on the prototyping.
I stripped the Simplex derailleurs and shift levers off the Montarino and shot the set in my living room. The backdrop is a fiberglass Eames rocking chair. I brought in a pair of lamps to try to reduce the shadows. I had to make a lot of color and exposure adjustments to get a relatively passable image.
Excuse the mess.
This is the cabinet I bought to house my satellite box, DVD player, Xbox, receiver, etc. It cost me something like $350, so I assumed it was a good quality piece of furniture.
Turns out it's made of particle board and flimsy as hell without that rear panel. I found this out when I got it home and pried the rear panel off of it so I could actually run wires between the components. I was going to drill large holes initially, but then I could run the wires, but not see the back of the components to plug them in, so off the back came.
Anyway, after almost eight months of waiting for it to collapse, I finally found an appropriate material at Lowe's, and had them cut it to the proper sizes and leave enough room for me to access the back of the components. Unfortunately, the 21 5/8" that I told them turned out to be 22". I rushed back to Lowe's and the guy re-cut it for me right away.
And now that it has a new back, it's structurally sound once again.
A happy ending!
