The blue image is kind of surprising. The yellow “Sun” filter filters almost all of the blue light, and the B component looks almost black, but when you enhance it you see this.
This is most likely due to the camera's JPEG compression dropping the blue information inside the disk of the sun where the red and green components are so much stronger. The “corona” effect would just be glare that hasn't been zeroed. Unfortunately, this camera doesn't have a “raw” mode.
This little gem accepts TCP/IP and converts the output to serial for a microcontroller. It's tiny! One could imagine crafting a tiny webserver in a 1" cube, or perhaps one day a light OpenSIM server. That would be rather interesting.

This is a small sculpture that looks like a spider. I made it from electronic components I had laying around. The components include: eight resistors and eight diodes for the legs, an electrolytic capacitor for the abdomen, two pieces of small wire for the palps, and an IC for the cephalothorax.

Xinjiang Tianshan comprises four components—Tomur, Kalajun-Kuerdening, Bayinbukuke and Bogda— that total 606,833 hectares. They are part of the Tianshan mountain system of Central Asia, one of the largest mountain ranges in the world. Xinjiang Tianshan presents unique physical geographic features and scenically beautiful areas including spectacular snow and snowy mountains glacier-capped peaks, undisturbed forests and meadows, clear rivers and lakes and red bed canyons. These landscapes contrast with the vast adjacent desert landscapes, creating a striking visual contrast between hot and cold environments, dry and wet, desolate and luxuriant. The landforms and ecosystems of the site have been preserved since the Pliocene epoch and present an outstanding example of ongoing biological and ecological evolutionary processes. The site also extends into the Taklimakan Desert, one of the world’s largest and highest deserts, known for its large dune forms and great dust storms. Xinjiang Tianshan is moreover an important habitat for endemic and relic flora species, some rare and endangered.
From "The Counterfeit Crochet Project (Critique of a Political Economy," 2008-2016
Global collaborative project with workshop, installation, and online components.
I created a website soliciting crocheters to join me in hand-counterfeiting designer handbags: Fendi, Gucci, Chanel, Prada, etc. Participants troll the internet and choose a design that they particularly covet, working off of low-resolution jpgs which they download. The final results may or may not bear resemblance to the originals, which also interests me.
The resulting "translations" are both homages and lumpy mutations. Crochet is considered a lowly medium, and the limitations imposed by trying to create detail with yarn takes advantage of the individual maker's ingenuity and problem-solving skills.
I am also interested in how this project can be similar to contemporary manufacturing and distribution channels. As a collaboration it parallels the idea of "outsourcing" labor, but also adds a democratic and perhaps anarchic level of creativity--within the basic framework, participants have taken liberties with their translations, changing colors, adding materials (cardboard, hot glue, etc.) to suit their needs.
Makers are encouraged to keep and wear their bags, in an attempt to insert strange variants into the stream of commerce and consumption. I ask for people to send me snapshots of their items to share with others. This is an ongoing global project, with makers in from all over the world accessing downloadable PDFs and instruction sheets.

In 2007 the project travelled to Manila, Beijing, and Istanbul for exhibitions and counterfeiting workshops. In 2008 it was expanded into a free-standing installation/workshop/display area for Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco for the exhibition "The Way That We Rhyme: Women, Art & Politics."

RACE: Are We So Different? brings together the everyday experience of living with race, its history as an idea, the role of science in that history, and the findings of contemporary science that are challenging its foundations. Interactive exhibit components, historical artifacts, iconic objects, compelling photographs, multimedia presentations, and graphic displays offer an eye-opening look at race.

If we talk about quality, it is an essential aspect while purchasing military components. Before making a sure shot deal with military component distributors in India, check all the necessary certificates and past record of distributors.
