A prova, que reúne os craques da modalidade, conta com a participação de 692 nadadores (415 masculinos e 277 femininos) em representação de 113 clubes oriundos de Espanha, Arménia, França, Irlanda, Grã-Bretanha, Dinamarca, Suíça, Ilhas Faroé, Holanda, Polónia, Finlândia e, naturalmente, Portugal.

Entre os presentes destaque para Diogo Carvalho (Galitos) e Alexis Santos (Sporting), ambos já com mínimos para os Jogos Olímpicos de 2016, bem como para Nuno Quintanilha (Colégio Vasco da Gama), Ana Catarina Monteiro (Fluvial Vilacondense) e Victoria Kaminskaya (Pimpões). Os cinco atletas vão representar Portugal no Mundial de Kazan, cujas provas de natação se realizam entre 2 e 9 de Agosto.
Carlos Cidade, Vereador do Desporto da Câmara Municipal de Coimbra, foi uma das personalidades convidadas para entregar os prémios referentes ao ranking de fundo.
O Campeonato Nacional de Juvenis e Absolutos – Open de Portugal/Somague é organizado em conjunto pela Federação Portuguesa de Natação, Câmara Municipal de Coimbra e Associação de Natação de Coimbra.

I have always enjoyed looking across the Squamscott River at this old mill in Exeter, NH. I'm not sure what used to be produced here, but given the size of the mill, it must have been a rather substantial operation at some point.
More than 100 exquisitely carved Hindu and Jain Temples make up this site, some dating back to 750 AD.
There are 161 steps to reach the main temples, and the last part is reached barefoot on white marble steps. The air temperature was 38°C, and i can only guess that the steps held a temperature of over 50°C. Talk about hot-footing it around these temples.
After walking in front of the Giant Buddha, you walk your way back up via these stairs through some caves before reaching a small bamboo forest... It had to feel like being in Indiana Jones before mass tourism arrived...

The New IPFW Student Services Complex is under construction. This is the view of the Helmke Library Leaning Commons section to be completed in the fall of 2011.

The Shah-i Zinda complex consists of a narrow 200-meter alley or corridor, lined with some 40 funerary buildings, nearly half of which were revealed in excavations. The standing monuments can be grouped in three clusters, marked by a succession of three chartaqs (domed crossings). The name Living king (Shah-i Zinda), relates to a tradition that the man buried in Mausoleum 18, Qusam ibn Abbas, was "martyred" (murdered) during one of his sermons or prayers, at the hands of Samarkand people who were irreconcilable with Islam at that time. When he had finished his sermon, he removed his own head from his shoulders, took it under his arm and disappeared through a narrow slot in the cave, where he still allegedly continues to live today. Hence the name Shah-i Zinda, which means "Living King" (www.people-travels.com/uzbekistan-cities/samarkand/sights...).
After the Mongol sack of Samarkand in the early 13th cent and following the relocation of central Samarkand from Afrasiyab hill to its present place, the site of Shakh-i Zinda was turned into a necropolis. The first tombs were clustered around Qusam’s shrine at the top of the hill, and the later structures descended the southern slope in a long string. The bulk of the structures were constructed between 1370 and 1405, mostly for the female members of the Timurid family. The final form of the complex was shaped in 1434-5, when Ulugh Beg, Timur’s grandson and the governor of Transoxiana (r.1409-1447), erected a monumental gateway at the southern end of the alley, which provided a well-defined ceremonial entrance for the complex and linked the necropolis to the city. Later interventions had minimal impacts on the general organization of the site.
Amir Hussein, brother-in-law, and a companion of Timur (Tamerlane), built the mausoleum for his mother, Tuglu-Tekin.

The Capitol Complex is Le Corbusier’s most spectacular work, which makes Chandigarh unique from other places of India. It consists of three main edifices, namely, the Secretariat, the Legislative Assembly and the High Court. The three buildings of the Capitol complex stand majestically representing themselves as the temples of democracy of free India.
One of the few I have yet to step foot on this complex is currently undergoing modifications for space-x. I dont think the helium cars were suppose to be here but I need to check google maps

Bathtub was previously refinished by a different company. Low odor stripper is applied and the paint is removed before the resurfacing process.
