GMP - Tactical Mounted Unit officers at the Specialist Operations Branch X Department Open day at the Hough End Complex on Sunday the 8th of July 2012. The horses were amazing, I couldn't believe how they never flinched when passing vehicles in which children were randomly setting off sirens etc. Well done to all the officers involved and for the friendly smiles!! A primeira semana de Abril de 2015 foi marcada por mais atrocidades cometidas pela Policia Militar do Rio de Janeiro.
Em apenas 3 dias, quatro vítimas foram alvejadas no Complexo do Alemão, entre as vítimas, um menino de 10 anos que brincava na porta de casa.
No dia 04 de Abril moradores, amigos, ativistas e moto-taxistas saíram pelas ruas pedindo Paz no Complexo do Alemão e Paz nas Favelas!
EC contained pretty much everything in one big building. Post 4 was the gateway for personnel, it also had the communications post,( a fancy operators station) Alpha tower, 3 bunkrooms, a kitchen, two offices for the platoon sgt and the platoon leader, an armory, weight room, and the ready room, a large room containing a pool table, tv with vcr, and many couches and chairs. At least three MP's sat in this room in full gear ALL the time, as they were the primary security alert team, and needed to be able to respond within 30 seconds.

Qutb Complex. Delhi, India
The Qutb complex is an array of monuments and buildings at Mehrauli in Delhi, India, the most famous of which is the Qutab Minar. This complex was first constructed by Qutb-ud-din Aybak, the first ruler of the Slave Dynasty, and his successor Iltutmish (aka Altmash) in his new city called the Qila-Rai-Pithora near Prithivraj Chauhan's older city. The complex was added to by many subsequent rulers, including Iltutmish and Ala ud din Khilji as well as the British.
The most famous monument situated in the complex is the Qutab Minar; other important constructions in the complex are the Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque, the Ala-I-Darwaza, the Alai Minar and the iron pillar. Twenty-seven previous Hindu and Jain (Kafir) temples were destroyed and their materials reused to construct the minar and other monuments of the complex.
This photograph is showing Warrington Bank Quay Railway Station with the backdrop of the Crown Paints complex which is one of the major manufacturers of paint in Great Britain. I like this picture as it is a good example of how industry used to pollute our atmosphere. unfortunately some companies still think it is acceptable.

Layered troctolitic series rocks in the Precambrian of Minnesota, USA.
These layered rocks are part of the widespread Duluth Complex, a ~1.1 billion year old suite of igneous rocks in northeastern Minnesota that is associated with volcanism in the Lake Superior segment of the ancient Mid-Continent Rift System.
Layering is not commonly seen in intrusive igneous rocks. The example shown above is the result of repeated episodes of crystal settling in a magma chamber
