On Mar. 25, 2015, the CFB Special Olympics All Stars competed along with other area school districts in track and field events at Standridge Stadium. Attending dignitaries were Carrollton Mayor Matthew Marchant; Military and Veterans Liaison from Congressman Kenny Marchant's office, John Hayes; Monique Evans, Miss Texas 2014 and Superintendent Dr. Bobby Burns.

James Madison University club rowers compete in eight-person (8+), four-person (4+), and two-person (2x) boats during their first regatta of the season on the Shenandoah River in Shenandoah, Va., on March 9, 2025. The student-run club team, founded in 2004, kicked off its spring competition schedule and elected new leadership, including board members, team officers, and key coordinators. U.S. Soldiers with the South Carolina Army National Guard competes in the U.S. Army Small Arms Championship, Mar. 10-16, 2024, at Fort Moore, Georgia. Soldiers competed against 227 service members and 51 teams, where they were evaluated on precision, time and skill as a team and indivdual. Team South Carolina Alpha is comprised of U.S. Army Staff Sgt. John Jordan, Staff Sgt. Kevin Pritchett, Sgt. David Drummer and Sgt. Mack Williams who won the 2024 U.S. Army Small Arms Team, Pistol Team, and placed third in Multi-Gun Team. Jordan won both individual U.S. Army Small Arms and Rifle, and place second in individual pistol. Williams won third place in U.S. Army Small Arms individual. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt.
