U.S. Soldiers and Airmen with the South Carolina National Guard (SCNG) compete in the 53rd Winston P. Wilson (WPW) and 33rd Armed Forces Skill at Arms Meeting (AFSAM) championship, May 1-4, 2024, at Robinson Maneuver Training Center, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Soldiers were evaluated on precision, time and skill as a team and individual on the M4 rifle and M17 pistol. Team South Carolina Alpha is comprised of U.S. Army Capt. David Elmore, U.S. Army Sgt. Nathan Rehm, U.S. Army Sgt. Jonathan Vaughn, U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Brantley Doster and individual competitors U.S. Army Spc. Rivers Hockensmith and U.S. Army Spc.
