Guided by the wind at Flathead Lake, MT. Summer 2010.

My recently planted climbing rose.

The rose Compassion is a climber that has a pleasant strong fragrance. It flowers frequently through the season after the June flush, but the foliage can get mild to moderate blackspot. It grows quite tall, it is not just a large shrub rose as are so many marketed climbers.

Compassion is another digital creation from my bubblescape series. Compassion for ourselves, other people and the earth is an important part of protecting the environment. This celebrates that realization.

"There is nothing heavier than compassion. Not even ones own pain weighs so heavy as the pain one feels for someone. "

~ Milan Kundera

This picture was taken at the Weck residence in the Hampton area. It is part of a project that I am doing for Rob, Brian's father, who is currently in the hospital. In just a few short hours he will recieve a transplanted liver from his son. I wish both Rob and Brian the strength to make it through the surgeries. Many prayers are being sent thier way...

Compassion. Kindness meaning of the name.

The ruins sit quietly, waiting to be discovered. Compassion also waits for us to discover it within ourselves. First Saturday of the month, I'll play a wide variety of uplifting music brought to you by Sine Space and broadcast on KRHI Radio. Experience two hours of exploration and lilting music as we search for ways to better understand compassion, what it is,and how it works in our lives.
