This ring was created by {me} in my home studio from start to finish. I have stamped North, South, West, and East into the face of this ring and rounded it on a dapping block. The compass face sits on a decorative copper band. This ring sits high enough to allow stacking rings to be worn with it. *stacking rings are sold separately. Owen Morrels sculpture, “Compass Rose”, a spherical depiction of a navigation device, is located in the Boathouse District.
I call it the compass climber because there is 6 inch metal rim around the edge of the sand, and it is marked with the compass points. The 4 stretched out points correspond to North South East West.
I had always wanted high cheekbones from a young age and used to suck in my cheeks. It wasn't until I lost weight, knew how to style my hair, use blusher and grew up! that they became much more defined.
They are still not great but at least I have a bit of a shape to my face now. I used to describe my face/head shape (when I was little) as "looking like I had been drawn with a compass"

Eingebettet in die 2019 gestartete künstlerisch-wissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit KI und Neuro-Bionik laden eine Reihe neuer Exponate und weiterentwickelter Ausstellungsbereiche dazu ein, sich inmitten der aktuellen Begeisterungsstürme und Panikattacken wieder etwas Orientierung zu verschaffen. „Compass reloaded!“ umfasst neue Stationen von Künstler*innen und Entwickler*innen aus Österreich, Rumänien, Belgien und den USA.
