Ten minutes later, the sunset painted the sky with the colors of passion.

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland
Description: The silvery disc in the bottom of the photo is a large compass-monument located on top of Arthur's Seat. I really like the angle of the photo; it is open, with the rays of the compass pointing outwards in all directions and nothing but sky above and city below. You can see two people standing on the highest peak of the mountain in the near distance. The background, however, is blurry; you can sort of tell where the photographer is, but the location is not set in stone. It could change, and the foreground would remain just as powerful. This photo makes me think of travel and new horizons, and it is my idea of exploration in a nutshell.

Die Themen Künstliche Intelligenz, Neuro-Bionik, Gen- und Biotechnologie und die weitreichenden globalen Veränderungen, die wir bereits 2019 aufgegriffen haben, sind heute aktueller denn je. Dies ist Ansporn und Auftrag zugleich, die neuesten Entwicklungen in unseren Ausstellungen zu thematisieren und einige der Stationen von Grund auf zu erneuern und zu aktualisieren. Compass reloaded! sozusagen.
