Leaving the amphitheatre, we came upon this large (like 4 feet across) stone compass showing the cardinal directions. an inner greenish ring showed various types of weather (tornado, cyclone, scirocco, etc.). I am assuming the weather types are related to these cardinal directions???

Compass Royston's operation of the 686 has now entered its final term with the lost of the Middlesbrough Collage contract to Tees Valley Coach Travel. The service now has two breaks during the day one between 1024 and 1112 and then for an hour betwen 1412 and 1512 on an afternoon. Solo W87 is seen parked in Middlesbrough Bus Station towards the end of the first break.

Located at the center of Locust Walk, the Compass is a commonly used landmark for to meet up with friends. Rumor also has it that freshmen who walk across the Compass are doomed to fail their first midterm.
