Another awsome Sport Compact event at WSID.Loads of cars made the trek from all over Aus to compete.Almost capacity entries on the track & a great selection of hot cars on show.
The presentation standard of Sport Compact drag cars has really amazed me so far this year, with a lot of the top runner track cars looking like prestine show cars with candy pearl paint jobs,tastefull air brushing and graffix and tuff drag spec rims all round. these guys have definatly stepped it up a notch!
Took a whole lot of photo's throughout the day, but unfortunatly forgot my memory backup so was limited to 4G worth of space...Ahhhrr.

I had to change a bulb in my lamp so I decided to put a 25W equivalent CFL that uses 4 watts, a 40W equivalent that uses 1.5 watts, and a new 40 incandescent bulb side by side.

Before the holiday I was worried that the Classic Compact would be too small - but it was fine! Bedrooms seemed the same size as countless previous mobile homes and the compactness of the living space more than made up for by the enormous deck. Would definitely stay in one again
The Mayflower Compact was signed in by the men of the Mayflower while still aboard ship. It was the first written attempt at self government in American History, and it remained in effect until 1691. The Pilgrims who sailed to the New World on the Mayflower had originally intended to settle in Virginia. When they landed in Massachusetts instead, in November 1620, they realized they were outside the jurisdiction of the Virginia charter. To establish their own authority and to aviod a possible mutiny, the Pilgrim leaders drew up and signed an agreement known as the Mayflower Compact. The original document has disappeared. Thankfully, William Bradford, the second governor of Plymouth Colony, wrote a history Of Plimoth Plantation. The version now available follows his spelling and punctuation.
