The reception-style Leaders Dinner took place at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and provided an opportunity for participants to network with the Global Compact community.
Speakers included: H.M. the Queen of Belgium; Jan Eliasson, Deputy-Secretary-General, United Nations; H.E. Izabella Teixeira, Minister of Environment, Brazil; Muhammad Yunus, Chairman of Yunus Centre and Founder of Grameen Bank; Sir Mark Moody-Stuart Chairman, Foundation for the Global Compact; Georg Kell, Executive Director, UN Global Compact
Berlin a accueilli ce vendredi l’initiative Compact with Africa. Une conférence destinée à soutenir l’investissement privé allemand sur le continent. Le Président Macky SALL a pris part aux travaux de cette conférence qui est une belle opportunité pour le Sénégal et le continent de créer des plateformes devant réunir les investisseurs privés allemands et africains autour des projets intégrateurs. Le Chef de l’Etat a mis l’accent sur l’allocation des DTS, la solidarité autour du vaccin, la facilitation de l’investissement en Afrique par des mécanismes appropriés de soutien, l’appui à la relance des economies africaine, la nécessité d’un New Deal avec l’Afrique qui exige un changement radical de mentalité dans la perception des relations avec l’Afrique.

Ladies Night = Models Night. Iedere 2e donderdagavond van de maand is het Ladies Night = Models Night. Georganiseerd door modellenburo B & W PromoModels. De eerste editie werd gehouden in de Danssalon in Eindhoven. Deze zeer vrouwvriendelijke avond bied je alles waar je als model (in de dop) voor warm loopt. Prachtige visagie plus een professionele shoot door een zeer ervaren model/studio fotograaf in een mobiele studio-omgeving. Daarnaast lopen er ook nog een aantal ervaren party-fotografen rond. Dus wanneer je je portfolio eens wilt uitbreiden met mooie foto's.... dan moet je hier zeker bij zijn. Wim, Bob en Janine heel erg bedankt voor de invite. Ik heb het een heel leuke, bijzondere avond gevonden. Erg prettig om goede ervaren collega's te treffen en te spreken. Wat mij betreft heel graag tot een volgende editie. Speciale dank gaat ook uit naar gastfotografe Sanne. Ze is visagiste, maar ook een natuurtalent wat betreft fotografie. Mooie foto's door jou! Respect. Vooral de black en white foto's zijn van haar afkomstig. Stuur me maar een mail als je je portfolio wilt uitbreiden binnenkort. Wanneer ik weer in de buurt van Eindhoven ben, kunnen we kijken of ik wat voor je kan betekenen.
Dames... zorg dat je hier volgende keer absoluut bij bent, wanneer je deze eerste kick-off hebt gemist. En vanwege het bijzondere karakter van dit exclusieve feest, deze keer geen logo in de foto's. I made this for my Bestie, down in Kentucky but forgot to take a pic before I sent it to her. Luckily she took a pic for me and you can tell cuz she's a real photographer and I'm a "let me show you this detailed but artistically crappy photo of this new thing that I got!" photographer. That's ok tho cuz it took skill to make that thing in the photo *smug*

This is the close up of the logo on my Walther CP99 Compact BB Gun. It's all metal and punches holes into glass and metal like butter. I thought it'd be nice to take it out of context and focus on the texture of the gun. Looks quite nice, could be better!
Another awsome Sport Compact event at WSID.Loads of cars made the trek from all over Aus to compete.Almost capacity entries on the track & a great selection of hot cars on show.
The presentation standard of Sport Compact drag cars has really amazed me so far this year, with a lot of the top runner track cars looking like prestine show cars with candy pearl paint jobs,tastefull air brushing and graffix and tuff drag spec rims all round. these guys have definatly stepped it up a notch!
Took a whole lot of photo's throughout the day, but unfortunatly forgot my memory backup so was limited to 4G worth of space...Ahhhrr.
