Ansty is a pretty compact village, a few rows of houses, a hall-turned-hotel and the nearby former estate church, St James's, which is largely a Gilbert Scott creation with it's fancy, petite octagonal tower and spire. The oldest part is the 13th century red sandstone chancel, the grey stone nave and north aisle are much restored.
The interior is quite dark so it helped that on this, my second visit, the lights were on which enabled the intricately carved chancel screen to be seen in more detail (I'd barely appreciated it previously as it merged with the shadows somewhat). The furnishings are all Victorian as is most of the glass, by various studios (Hardman's, Holland and Kempe) but there is one very quirky modern window in the chancel, celebrating the ecumenical movement and scientific progress with vignettes of astronauts and a now rather antiquated computer, the first time I've seen either in a church window!
Ansty church is normally kept locked outside of services, but is worth a look if you're either lucky with timing or make an appointment (I luckily encountered a very nice lady with a key who was just leaving and kindly went back to briefly reopen the church for me on my previous trip).
Very rare Schuco bear that is also a ladies compact with face powder, a mirror and a section under the head that once would have held lipstick, a small trace of which can be seen.
Note that the remote controls are housed on the inside of the Scarab's "wings."

Mauritshuis The Hague NL
The Mauritshuis is home to the very best of Dutch Golden Age painting. The compact, yet world-renowned collection, is situated in the heart of The Hague, right next to the government centre. Masterpieces such as Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp by Rembrandt, The Goldfinch by Fabritius and The Bull by Potter are on permanent display in the intimate rooms of this seventeenth-century monument. After a two-year renovation, the Mauritshuis has reopened. The renovated Mauritshuis is now twice as large, with an underground expansion into the building on the other side of the street. Still, little about the character of the museum was changed. The appearance and unique intimate atmosphere are still intact, thanks to the design of Hans van Heeswijk Architects. The construction of the underground link between the two buildings, which entailed lowering the foundation of the new wing, was a tour de force on its own. The cramped building site and the location, right next to the Prime Minister's tower, proved to be a challenge to the contractors. The seventeenth-century house, where the vast collection is presented, has also been modernised: the windows, the climate installation and the lighting have been replaced and the interior has been redecorated. The old building once again has a fresh appearance, a subtle ‘face lift’. One big change is the relocation of the main entrance to the forecourt. Visitors descend via the stairs or lift into a light-filled foyer, where they can find ticketing and audio tours. The new wing will house the exhibition space, the brasserie, and the museum shop. It will also accommodate the educational Art Workshop, a library and an auditorium.

I bought the Farfisa Compact Duo from California with no Farfisa F/AR power supply and Reverb Unit recently , SO I then bought a Farfisa Transicord accordion in Sweden.... with a Farfisa F/AR power supply and Reverb Unit......
The 2 farfisas had different power cables, one was USA (7 pins) and one was EU (10 pins)
wow.... so I had to get my electrical hat on....
Using the circuit diagram of the 2 different plugs
and run tiny cables from 1 to the the other.....
and IT WORKED !!!!!!
