Here’s the Compact Jenny knock off called “Slender Girl” who looks to share the same sculpt as Compact Jenny but with 5 points of articulation instead of gumby wire limbs. Weirdly enough she also has Jenny’s underwear molded on (which the Compact Jenny doesn’t have molded on).
She’s a pretty good match to the Figma Archetype knock off body but she’s gonna get her own body in the mail.

This is the spectrum of a compact fluorescent lamp (CFL). The main emission lines are likely from mercury, though rare earths (phosphors) are added to modify the quality of the light. The light source is "luminescent" (only certain elements emit light) rather than incandescent (where all the atoms emit).
CFLs appear to convert about 15% to 25% of electricity into visible light.
I think that CFLs are likely an intermediate technology and will be largely superseded by LEDs.
Feel free to use this picture. All I ask is that you give me credit and send a link back to: brawnhumus.com/cfls-save-lighting-costs/

the solar cell that powers the lightmeter is broken, and i don't have a manual lightmeter. i'm just guessing away with this camera. it has a focus ring but it's no rangefinder... but i like it. a picture of the little beauty.
This flabellina, photographed in Port Stephens at Sea Slug Census #5, is the first confirmed sighting of this species in Australia.
Another of my favourit hand meters. Very compact, very convenient to use (with one hand). It a dual-range CdS meter with Match-the-needle simple operation, and the black switch that you can see at lower left can be operated by the thumb when held in the left hand. And the Match-needle dial can also be easily operated by the left thumb as it turns so smoothly, and the power button is also easily operated by the left thumb. In short this is an ideal meter for the lefties, and although I'm not a leftie, I still love this very convenient meter. And it works fine with a 1.5V alkaline battery, instead of the original 1.35V mercury.
Most farmers wait until the soil becomes dry before running heavy, 4 tons + equipment, on their soil. My soil monitors are showing 28% moisture, from the surface all the way down past 4 feet, right now. Perfect for asphalt like finish to clay surfaces. This practice tends to compact soil prior to root expression and eliminates the air spaces between grains.
