I suppose this is a late entry for the LUGNuts "All But Four" Challenge. It prolly would have been finished in time for the challenge had I purchased the awesome 7685 Dozer (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?O=7685-1) before the new year. ;)
Did you know there's a "secret room" in the basement of the Central Library where extra copies and little used books live? Thanks to compact shelving we can fit more into a smaller space. Hard to believe our vibrant new Children's Room used to be filled with storage!

3 Lego City-scale, 4-wide cars.
The sleek, sporty, orange coupe. If you drive it, then you belong equaly on the track or on a public road. Built for the luxury division of a premeir auto company. This car is anything but tame. You'll know what I mean with the traction controll off!
The compact. Designed to be small enough to fit into even the smallest parking spaces, while spacious enough to take grocery shopping.
From the famous "gerbil comercial".
The muscle car. An automotive staple since 1960, this car is designed for speed! This version is the one most faithfull to the original in recent times, while still incorporating modern comforts (and emission laws :( ).

The building, designed by Messrs Giles, Gough and Trollope of London followed the compact arrow plan and was built at a cost of £126,000. It was opened amid public ceremony on March 18, 1903, by the Rt. Hon. Lord Glanusk who said of it "everything has been done that human ingenuity could devise for the happiness and safety of the inmates, and under the blessing of God, for their speedy restoration to health." Like other contemporary institutions, the asylum was designed to be self-sufficient, and had its own private water, electricity, heating and sewerage systems as well as a considerable agricultural estate on which able-bodied patients worked to produce food for the hospital. As well as residential wards, the hospital had a large recreation and dining hall, kitchens, workshops "in which the patients [were] encouraged to spend their time profitably", a tailor, bakery, shoe-maker and printing shops as well as 8 acres of market gardens.
Initially dedicated to treating patients from the counties of Brecknockshire and Radnorshire, after the First World War, patients from Montgomeryshire were also admitted, and the 'asylum' was extended and renamed the "Mid-Wales Counties Mental Hospital".

Quite possibly one of the best but most obscure BMW coupes ever built, the BMW 6 Series was built to fill the sports coupe market between 1976 and 1989 before the company focused more on the radical new BMW M5 range.
However, the 6 Series has since made a reappearance in 2003, from which it continues to be built today as the prime Sports Coupe of the company.
