Unusual to see these short ones, but the LWB ones seemed popular with carper fitters and tradesmen who needed a decent loadbay length (saw a tidy M-reg example in such a capacity just this morning).
Another capacious Toyota in the background...

Ford’s ‘Compact’ Fairlane first appeared in the US in 1962 as a mid-range model positioned between the Falcon and the full-size Galaxie, the Fairlane became known as the ‘Compact’ due to its decreased size compared to earlier ‘Tank’ Fairlanes.
The 1962-64 Compact Fairlane were also built in Australia in right hand drive. While the Fairlane was available in a range of body styles over in the US, including 2 and 4 door sedans, sports coupe and wagons, Ford Australia only marketed the basic four-door sedan.
For 1963, the Fairlane got a concave grille, revised bonnet, guards and tail lights. 1771 FC Fairlanes were produced in Australia in 1963. 336 were also assembled in New Zealand from CKD kits

Part of the problem is the cycle time. This compactor cycles in 16 seconds. Within 30 seconds the bag is always being rammed mercilessly into the trash. The bag fell onto the blade and was destroyed. But here it is being compacted.
From the National Trust website:
"Discover the echoes of history in the heart of Somerset, in breathtaking gardens and working orchards
Discover the haunting echoes of the past at Barrington Court, a Tudor manor house free from collections and furniture. Explore using your imagination and your senses to discover a house full of memories, where light fills the rooms and you feel you can almost touch the past.
The property was saved from ruin and restored by the Lyle family in 1920s, when the court house resembled a barn rather than the proud manor house that it is. Close your eyes and you’ll almost be able to hear the sounds and see the sights of the glamorous parties held in the great hall during Barrington’s hey day. On the first floor listen out for the voices resonating from the past, of the young evacuees who called Barrington home during the Second World War.
Stroll through the Gertrude Jekyll inspired gardens, which with their focus on plant varieties and colours are a delight for all the senses. Be spurred on in your own garden or allotment by the stone-walled kitchen garden that produces a variety of delicious fruit and vegetables. Don’t just take our word for it, why not stop off in the Strode House Restaurant to taste these home-grown delights."

Another flower macro/close-up from our garden. These Dahlia buds have very interesting and beautiful looking colors and patterns on them. Nature has an amazing way of packaging these beauties... one day they are just small buds and the next day you find them in full bloom!
Wishing you all a great start to the week!
My Flowers & Macro set.
So i live in a single dorm room. you would expect there to be a lot of room, since it was designed as a double, however i am stuck with two sets of furniture, as my school lacks storage space. I tried putting the two desks side by sise, but kept forgetting they were two desks....then i decided to compact it down, my monitor and tv fit on the desk very well, and a my power cables are hidden behind the desk. My main computer is the macbook, under the keyboard. However since i am to lazy to drag myself out of bed in the mornings, and love music i use the netbook to connect to my macbook from where ever i am in my room. (it also works well to scare the crap out of friends)
A nicely-designed New-Light woman's combination compact and lighter. When you close the cigarette case, the lighter automatically pops up.
Surprisingly compact for 5,100 pounds of thrust (about 5,000 HP). First generation British engine powered the Canadian version of T-33 as well as Russian Mig15 (reverse engineered from a purchase of 50).
After WWII the Soviets took a lot of the axial flow jet engines that powered the German Me262 home and tried to perfect them but gave up and bought the 50 Nene 10's. It may seem now like insanity for the British to have sold them but they were probably acutely aware at that time that had it not been for the Red Army we'd all be speaking German, at least those of us not worked to death in slave labour camps.
This is in the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton, Ontario, and well worth a visit. The Hamilton transit system even provided free cab rides to the museum from beyond the last bus stop or at least they did when I visited in 2006. The museum maintains some rare warbirds in flying condition. If you ever wanted a ride in an Avro Lancaster this is the place to go. It's an easy day trip from Toronto by bus or train.
