After I showed you my Nikonos SB 105 here are two more things from my under water photography stuff I bought already. This is a normal diving lamp, but really small and powerfuel. Before this I got the larger brother "mini compact". But I will use this as a focus lamp and so it has to be light and small.

Going through my 'man drawer' this afternoon and uncovering all sorts of things, including my most recent 3 cameras before the 550D. This Mju took some really fab photos back in the day of film ... think I bought it around 1998. I also had an old Pentax ME Super SLR camera that I used at university but sadly I don't know where it is any more.
The Sandugo was a blood compact, performed in the island of Bohol in the Philippines, between the Spanish explorer Miguel López de Legazpi and Datu Sikatuna the chieftain of Bohol on March 16, 1565, to seal their friendship as part of the tribal tradition. This is considered as the first treaty of friendship between the Spaniards and Filipinos. "Sandugo" is a Visayan word which means "one blood".

Une bague autour de l'objectif permet d'activer le Magicube. Le viseur est carré et la grille en façade ne cache pas de cellule. Cet appareil est identique à la présentation près au Unika XM apparu six ans plus tôt.

The pointer is pointing directly to the central canal (Haversian canal). Surrounding the central canal are multiple small lines (canaliculi) and the really dark spots are osteocytes in lacunae.
This bizarre but charming little oddity is apparently a Willam Sulky from 1977, powered by a Lambretta scooter engine.

C3 - The easiest way to make kitchen tops!
C3 is a milling and engraving stone CNC machine. The C3 is designed to make accurate cutting out of granite, marble and engineered stone for sinks and cooking tops easy and cost-effective for the stone worker. It also has a “tilt table” so you don’t need to worry if your marble and granite isn’t calibrated and is ideal for drainers and flutes.
The entire process is run from the integrated PC Windows® control panel. The easy-to-operate interface in the modern computer makes it possible to draw, change and save thousands of drawings and figures at the machine.
Like all of Scandinvent’s CNC stone fabrication machines, the C3 includes ScandSOFT™, the user-friendly software designed and developed by Scandinvent to make CNC programs of any sink or cooking top.

The collapse of the St. Francis Dam on March 12, 1928, is, in terms of loss of life, the second-greatest disaster in California history. The first was the San Francisco earthquake and fire of 1906. The death toll from the collapse varies from about 400 to more than 600.
Built by William Mulholland, known as the father of Los Angeles' municipal water system, the 1,300-foot span of concrete in San Francisquito Canyon held more than 12 billion gallons — a year's supply for the entire city about 50 miles to the south.
It was three minutes before midnight when the dam broke, freeing a 10-story-high avalanche of water to sweep 54 miles west to the ocean. Water engulfed whole towns, dozens of ranches, an Edison construction camp, the Harry Carey Indian reservation and trading post, and DWP Powerhouse No. 2.
It demolished 1,200 houses, washed out 10 bridges and knocked out power lines. Bodies would wash ashore as far south as San Diego.
