Eleven, design PearsonLloyd
Compact volumes. Essential clean-cut lines. One distinctive central feature: a
supporting metal structure to which cushions are anchored. Upholstered products
enter the Alias world with a technological spirit in keeping with the personality of the
brand. A system of one, two and three-seater sofa elements designed by
PearsonLloyd, the angular elegance of eleven provides the ideal solution for both
domestic interiors and communal spaces. The slender legs, produced in cast
aluminium and enamelled in various colours, are the unmistakable feature of each
seating element in the eleven collection. The steel frame is strung with elastic
webbing to guarantee maximum comfort and supports the seat, back and armrests
cushions, which are formed in varying densities of polyurethane. Upholstery is
available in fabric or leather with a wide variety of colours and materials to choose
from. Alias suggests a selection of possible frame finish and upholstery combinations,
providing contemporary inspirations to enhance this design project.

Alias con uno spirito tecnologico affine all’identità del marchio. Un sistema di sedute
da uno, due e tre posti disegnato da PearsonLloyd per offrire un’eleganza trasversale.
Ideale negli scenari domestici come negli spazi collettivi.
La gamba slanciata, realizzata in fusione d’alluminio verniciato in diversi colori, è
l’elemento che caratterizza ogni seduta della collezione eleven.
Il telaio in acciaio, con cinghie elastiche che garantiscono estremo confort, supporta
seduta, schienale e braccioli realizzati in poliuretano di diversa densità e rivestiti in
tessuto o pelle, proposte in più varianti.
Alias suggerisce diversi accostamenti tra le finiture di struttura ed imbottito, con
soluzioni attuali che esaltano il progetto.

All with aperture priority auto exposure (testing the camera's metering) - aperatures ranging from wide open (f1.8 - to check bokeh / OOF rendering) to around f5.6 - f11 (to check lens sharpness and 'sweet spot').

Next halt- the Blood Compact Monument. This site tends to be rather nondescript thingy on the side of the road, with buildings on both sides and the open sea behind. Despite its supposed historical significance, there is not much hoo laa about it, it's just a bored place with a couple of trinkets sellers outside it. Good to stop by and take a picture, but little else. (Bohol- Tagbilaran, Philippines, May 2013)
