On our trip, we enjoyed travelling by train as they were less busy than subways and offered unique look into the everyday life of Japanese people. Not surprisingly at all, phones had people’s attention no matter where you go.

C-FXWH, a Cessna U206C Super Skywagon, launching off runway 33 at Toronto Buttonville Municipal Airport in Markham, Ontario.
Serial number U206-1170 was delivered as CF-XWH to its original owner in Hamilton, Ontario from the Cessna plant in Wichita, Kansas during the second half of 1968.
Today it is operated by Cameron Air Service Ltd. of Toronto, Ontario. The 53-year-old was heading north to Bracebridge, Ontario.
Gulls seem to regularly use the trains in south Melbourne. Well, it saves flying. Trouble is you need a human to open the door at your stop. Someone oblidged in this instance.

Probably the last shot I'll post from my mid week London trip to the BWPA. This was just a grab shot before I jumped on the 8:30am train back to Leeds but I love that ceiling :)
4 years ago I went to Chicago for a visit. One of the most amazing things for me was the Metra train station. Once I entered I felt like in the Blade Runner movie from the early 80s - huge machinery, repetitive short announcements with a tinny synthetic voice, thin artificial lighting in an otherwise dark place. Pretty overwhelming.
Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia is a mid-sized community on the Eastern Shore. It is a part of the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia, and lies along the Atlantic Ocean, at the eastern side of the mouth of Halifax Harbour. Historically, fishing was the main source of income for the community, but now most of its inhabitants commute to Downtown Halifax or Dartmouth , or work in the community at typical jobs
