Friedrichsstrasse Station was one of the border posts to Western Berlin and as such, the terminus for trains from East and West.
Completely rebuilt in 1991, it is now a busy commuter station in the centre of Berlin.

shot through my wet windshield as rain from another wave of the storm started to fall. The clouds ahead of me were actually rolling in, and fast, one of the few times I've actually gotten to watch that happen, and it was so cool.
Interstate 40 is on the right. Oh, also note the classy motel that misspelled "Renovated" on their LED sign. And the strip club next door. (Not my place of work, thankfully. ;)
