This is part of a series documenting commuters during morning rush hour.

The people in the images are shot from the waist down to represent the anonymous relationship between each other.

Never say never! I hadn't planned another outing before spending a relaxing Christmas with the family. But, when the weather finally turned last night I had to get up early and chase that cold moon.

my view from Fri PM Atlanta traffic, 2012/02/17.

Part of a slide show for the morning commute, some of them are slightly blurry. This is down to seeing things and snapping them quickly, with no time for focus let alone anything else. And of course they are taken on the move so allow a little room for that.

November 20, 2008. At a bus stop at the Helsinki railway station.

This video describes my view of a monotonous repeated commute in which details go unnoticed. I wanted to emphasise this "blindness" by colour blocking sections of details on black and white footage. The sound is an important feature to this video as the chaotic noise contrasts with the visual numbness the model shows. The loss of senses and complete focus on one thing, such as a block of colour or just simple lines becomes more evident. This video is still work in progress and I am currently trying to find a more suitable and convincing ending.

I had to make couple of commutes on trains recently. Long journeys, and between reading more of my book (For Esme with Love and Squalor by J D Salinger, if you're interested), I thought I'd record what I saw. I'd have been very reluctant to do this with an SLR, but the little mobile was well up to the task. "Retro Camera" was the App of choice in this case!

A Panda of sorts? I took a pic of this guy while I was riding my bike home from work.
