(D2) Our presence brought joy to the orphans. We played with them, they enjoyed taking photos...... They were a lucky bunch. Not all orphans could be accepted. Those accepted had nannies, a place to stay, friends, free education, reacquiant with their culture and regular overseas visitors. The two boys at the front were brothers and we only knew at the later part of our stay. One came later after the other. The girl in purple was a very talented dancer.

Southern's annual MLK Service Day sees students, faculty, and staff serve in a wide variety of capacities assisting projects all over the Chattanooga area.
The Rotary Club of Hoogeveen organised a fund raising event: "The Smartest Business of Hoogeveen". Answer the quiz question correctly and win!. But the real winners were seven local charities: they received a cheque for 1000 euro each from the proceeds of this evening.
