Celestine Anyango (right) and her two children; Lavender, 21 and Irene, 14 (left), live in Goi Village, Usenge, next to the shores of Lake Victoria. Celestine, who is living with HIV, used to catch fish from the lake in order to earn her living. However, fish stocks have reduced so much that she is no longer able to make a living in this way. Celestine is now dependent upon her daughter Lavender’s income (selling mobile phone accessories).
