Patricia first met Rogers (a volunteer health worker) in 2005. He encouraged her to take an HIV test last year after she became sick. Patricia tested HIV+. She says that she is happy when Rogers comes to see her. ‘He comes to assist me and to give advice. Sometimes I have stress and we sit and talk. I am happy to be with him. Without him I could not be alive now. He is a great helper in my life.’
