Rogers Ochieng Otieno, 28, is a volunteer community health worker with the Rural Transport Network (run by Christian Aid and Virgin Unite) in Kenya. He is one of 12 volunteer riders who have been trained to travel into rural communities and provide health education and support.
Volunteers like Rogers provide vital services to local communities. As well as providing education to families to prevent malaria, Rogers also supports people living with HIV.
