Today Rahul is a healthy and happy 10-year-old boy living in a slum in North Kolkata. But a few years ago, his future seemed bleak. When Rahul was 6 years old, he started having problems with his eyesight. He is an only child to his parents Haradhan and Tapasi. It was painful for them when they discovered that their otherwise healthy son was suffering from night blindness.
