The Carl Sandburg Charger 11-15 volleyball team defeated Highland College tonight in a Arrowhead conference match in 4 sets 20-25,25-23,25-15,25-15. The Chargers came out slow in set 1 but continued to make adjustments to their game to get better each set.

LCC faculty recognized students who have achieved academic excellence this year.

Ben Soleim earned the Outstanding Student Award for Speech and was also chosen for the All-Washington Academic Team and the ASLCC 2015 Hall of Honors.

Former student, Alisha McLeod was recognized as the Chemical Dependency Outstanding Student. Her mother Marie accepted the award on her behalf.

In total forty-five awards were presented during the evening.
